"I love my TLS workstation for bulky items and the separate access to the laptop pocket, but in some ways this bag is handier for travel. Having two separate main pockets allows me to keep the stuff I need to access en route in one of them without disturbing the stuff I don't need until I arrive. The handy front pocket for sunglasses, etc. is something I have missed on previous ebags backpacks. It could be half an inch deeper but is a much appreciated update. The organizer pocket is fine, though the pen pockets could also have been a little deeper (at least I had some trouble with them) and it would have been nice to have a zipper on one of the larger organizer pockets as well as on a small one. The overall shoulder feel of the bag is great, the bottle holder worked well, the zippers (and the key ring) of course are great as on all the ebags products I have, and the bag is roomy enough while still sliding easily under the airline seat. I hope to keep counting it as a "personal item" as opposed to a carry-on. The charcoal color I chose has a nice professional look. A very solid value for the price!"

"Too early to tell but better than average so far (two weeks of use). I like the zippered pockets and sections. Can't have too many. Also the zips that pull from each side to the center are better than the "one way" pulls. Could use some additional zips or at least Velcro on the inside pockets. Backpacks get tossed around and are not always upright like the designer probably intended, so open pockets anywhere on or in a backpack are bad and either an oversight or an effort to save a little cost in the trade off of cutting corners on the product. This backpack is better than most in that regard but could still use improvement on better enclosures. Comfortable to wear as I use it mostly flying around and traveling. Will hold a laptop securely and fit under an airline seat if needed."

"This is a well put together bag. The straps and handle are well made and solid. It is comfortable to wear and fits my 15.6 laptop. The compartments (other than the laptop compartment) are not very roomy. I am not able to fit everything in that I could with my old laptop backpack."
