• PLEASE READ THIS: Many customers who have experienced problems with the USB adapters have been incorrectly “stacking” the USB module on top of the plug socket head. The product design requires that you swap out the interchangeable modules depending on what function you need. You must remove the top plug socket module from the chassis first, then insert the USB module into the chassis. Please take a moment and watch the video (link found just below the main photo above). Clear instructions are provided. FURTHER, if you blow the fuse in the adapter, a spare is located on the underside of the plug socket head. • Become familiar with this adapter before leaving on your trip. It plugs into a North American wall outlet. You can verify that your device plugs into the plug socket head without issue, and after swapping out the plug socket head for the USB, test the charging properties on your phone, iPod, or Camera. • Note that this is not a voltage converter – this is a mechanical device to adapt one plug “shape” to another, as well as a USB 5v charger. If you are traveling with 110V items and plug them into a 220/240V outlet, you risk damaging your appliance

• To use the USB charger module, you need to exchange the plug top with the USB top. To remove the plug top, press the large side button and simply remove the plug top. Insert the USB charger module until it snaps in place.
• The plug module is perfect for AC adapters that automatically sense and convert voltage (most laptop AC adapters do). Read the label on your laptop (or other device) charger to confirm that it has a voltage input range (for example: 100-240volt, 50-60hz)
