Filson Large Briefcase/Computer Case

"This is a fantastic bag. There's room for my computer and all the accoutrements ... books, papers ... and yet it's not HUGE. I use it every day. The pockets on the side are incredibly handy. The inside is spacious. And though the looks are specific, if you like 'em, you love 'em. This is actually a replacement for the smaller Filson briefcase which was stolen. You know you love something if you buy it twice."

"Fantastic bag and worth every penny! Filson isn't cheap, but it's made in the US, looks great and is bomb-proof. You can beat them up and they just look even better. I have had this bag for a couple years now and use it as a laptop bag for business travel. Higher-tech cases have a lot more tech-friendly features, but none of them have this kind of STYLE. I still get the occasional compliments all over the world and several people have asked where they can get one."

"This Filson bag is great. From all the previous comments about the pockets not being stitched on the bottom, it seems that the company has heard the feedback and made some changes to it. I was ready for my bag to have open compartments, but it doesn't. Overall the bag is great. Sturdy, with many pockets. The zippers are very large and can be somewhat difficult to zip. I have a larger, 15" computer and it can only fit in the center pocket. I typically carry it as a briefcase because the shoulder strap isn't as comfortable, and the bag itself is heavier. It's a tradeoff holding it in my hand rather than across the shoulder, but the bag is so stylish that you can get away with it. Note that the brown bag comes in a darker brown than pictured on the ebags site. Check out the Filson or other sites for a more accurate depiction."

"Overall this bag is great. Good-looking, durable, well-organized. BUT the shoulder strap broke within a week of me using the bag for the first time. Filson was good about dealing with this issue, offering to repair the strap. But it is disappointing that I will be without a shoulder strap for about a month so soon after buying this (very) expensive bag."
