Filson Sportsman's Bag 

"After destroying several gym bags, I decided to go with something nicer. I am very happy with my other Filson products, this matches them and I went with it. For me, it's almost bigger than I need for regular gym days. It is great on the days I do cycle class though. It holds my cycle clothes, shoes and easily holds another set of clothes for lifting weights after cycle class. A little on the pricey side but I will also use it for some short business trips and overnight casual trips."

"Overall, a nice bag that meets the needs of urban professionals who typically have to carry a laptop and their gym/yoga clothes on weekdays. This bag offers a stylish solution to the issue. True, it is heavier than similar nylon bags, but the look is sharper, as other reviewers have noted. There are a couple of drawbacks that could be fixed in it. First, those beautiful large zip locks go so far back that they rub against clothes and can spoil them. Second, that separator inside - when it's taken out completely, the metallic buttons on the inner back wall of the bag are not covered by anything, and they will scratch your laptop if you don't use laptop case. In a heavy bag like this one, it would be ideal to skip the case, so, I suggest that the manufacturers find a solution to cover those metallic parts with fabric when the separator is removed."

"Filson Sportsman's Bag I purchased the Filson Sportsman’s Bag (otter green, SKU-266) a few months ago as a general purpose, daily use work-bag. Previously, I transported my work stuff in a smaller duffle bag and separate laptop bag. I still have, and sometimes use, a briefcase and laptop bag for business trips/meetings. I spent some time researching for high quality, preferred duffle-type bag with dimensions to hold my 12” laptop (thinkpad x60 w/ 8 hr battery, 10.5-inch depth when in sleeve) with enough extra room for typical work related stuff. I can now carry files, electronics, coffee thermos (1-qt), laptop and other stuff in one bag – much more convenient for me. Primary reasons I selected this bag are (1) dimensions, (2) Filson brand quality (I’ve owned their Outfitter bag for years and it is great for my fishing trips), (3) organizational capabilities and (4) overall appearance. The bag’s material is a waxed heavy canvas (water repellent, not padded) that is breaking in nicely – a bit stiff when first purchased. It is equipped with substantial leather straps (shoulder and hand), heavy duty zippers, large main compartment, two large, zippered outside pockets with compartments, and two open exterior end pockets. Since the material is fabric it does not hold its shape consistently, dependent on how it is load it. For my purposes this bag is nearly perfect. I am in process of ordering another for my wife."
