"ordered this sling backpack for my son, who specifically requested this style. We looked at this together online and he decided on the electric blue color. It all looked fine and the price seemed reasonable so we took a leap of faith. The item arrived (via FREE standard shipping) within 3 days and I was immediately *VERY* pleased with the appearance and utility of this bag. The external material (nylon, I believe) appears very thick and durable, as does the bottom section that makes contact with the ground (when it is inevitably "thrown around" and mistreated!) The bag is HUGE and has plenty of room for anything a 6th grader would need. The compartments are nicely organized and there are enough of every size. Another nice feature is a cell phone case that velcros around the sling strap in the front. It does appear the top secure for the strap (that would go on top of shoulder in the front) will be an area of concern and questionable durability b/c it is only held on by one piece of cloth around a rubber ring. Overall however, for the price I paid I could not be more pleased with the product received. Hopefully by the end of the school year I am still singing its' praises!! :))"

"I have to start this by saying I love this bag. If you are even considering it, you won't regret it! I was researching bags for a few days in hopes to find a bag that would hold my notebook computer, tablet, and a few other odds and ends without weighing me down a ton. I am one for major organization so throwing everything in one large pocket isn't for me. The Ful Brickhouse solves that problem with ample pockets and storage while still being a light and comfortable sling bag. I can grab it and take it anywhere with me and have everything I need while neatly organized. The large notebook pocket is perfect for a notebook (my 13" fits with ease) and has two velcro pockets as well which I use one on bottom for the power cord and the other on top for my bible (just fits). The small pockets wont hold my 8.9" tablet sadly. I also keep a paper notebook and some business documents in there as well. The next pocket down has plenty of room for my tablet and power cord. It's not padded but the neoprene sleeve I have for the tablet works fine. The next pocket down has 3 credit card slots, a pen holder, a cell phone/mp3 pocket (it holds my old T-Mobile G1 perfectly), a mesh change pocket, another larger pocket behind that (holds a 2.5" hard drive perfectly), and behind all of that is a large "map" pocket which I use to hold a few cd-r sleeves. The tiny front pocket holds my contact lens case, solution, headache meds, and my asthma inhaler. The side zip pouch holds a small umbrella and my eye glass case. The top zip pouch holds my usb cords, connectors, and other odds and ends. That's everything I need to carry on a daily basis and let me tell you it does the job great! I have also received compliments on the bag as well from others which just reassures me I made a great purchase. The bag is a little heavier than I expected empty but I figured that just means it's durable! As usual eBags shipped FAST and I got my package ahead of time in perfect condition!"

"My 12.5" Lenovo laptop fits great in the laptop sleeve, but my 15" HP laptop does not. The velcro inside the laptop sleeve is great, because it keeps the laptop secure after you open the zipper. One of the six zippers has double zipper pulls, but I really wish they all did. If they all had double pulls then I could get into any of the pockets while wearing the bag by spinning it around to the front of my body. But with single zipper pulls I have to remove the bag from my body and hold it upright while unzipping. All of the pockets are very well designed, and the laptop sleeve and one of the front pockets have nice internal organizing pockets. The laptop sleeve pocket is really nice for holding my computer and file folders flat and secure. The very front pocket is just big enough to hold my smart phone in an otterbox, but the phone pocket on the strap was probably too small for any smart phone. The waterproof bottom is especially nice and sturdy. I'm happy with the bag, but I'd like to see these features added: double zipper pulls on every zipper; larger, more secure water bottle pocket w/ drawstring; sewn on loop to attach a red tail light for cycling; reflective trim; an optional waist strap, or a 2nd cross chest strap to keep the bag secure while cycling or carrying a heavy load. Even though I've listed some complaints, this is the best laptop sling I've found, I'd buy it again, and I'd recommend it to friends and family."

"This is no ordinary back pack. The quality of construction and the thoughtful design mean this bag approaches Tumi standards. The material feels similar to ballistic nylon instead of just a thin cheap material. I particularly like the rubber bottom which helps protect the bag when set down on wet or dusty surfaces. Lots of zipper compartments 6 in total. The main compartment opens at the side ( not the top)enabling easy access to a padded laptop compartment. The zippers handles are big enough to enable securing with a lock so three compartments can be secured this way if required. One small compartment has various pockets for pens, passport, and cell phone and unlike many backpacks this compartment is also padded. I have had shoulder surgery so I needed a sling back design and this bag has this with the addition that you can switch the strap for either right, or left shoulder use. Unbelievable value for money compared with similar designer brands."

"This is a great sling style bag. It is the first I've ever had, and I'm really glad I gave it a try. There is much more storage and organization than the pictures/description lets on. The area for an iPad is actually two areas. One bigger section, with a slightly smaller padded section for the iPad. This fits my iPad with keyboard folio with room to spare. If you are looking for a laptop bag, you may have to continue looking. I have a HP ElitBook 8540 which is 15"x10". It will not fit in any of the storage areas. I bought this for the iPad, so there wasn't any expectation for the laptop, I just wanted people to get the info that might be interested. Everything else about the bag is great. It has a good durable feel to it. Reasonable weight. Nice assortment of smaller compartments, one with pockets for various items. The phone case on the shoulder strap holds an iPhone perfectly. It will hold droid phones that are slightly larger than an iPhone. Don't expect it to hold those newer hybrid tablet/phone things. I think that is about all the good things I can mention."

"The bag was excellent at first. It's compact, light, and nice looking. Then after a while, the O-ring at the top that connects to the strap started cutting into the material that puts it in place. Now there is a huge rip right across the bag at the base of the O-ring. It lets water into the bag via the rip and I had to buy a different bag. I can understand if this had happened years after buying, but it only took a couple of months. So, despite the Pros, the durability of the bag is a real issue, and I wouldn't suggest buying it."

"I had never heard of Ful as a brand before. After researching a little, I decided to give Ful a shot. I must say; Loved the smashing good looks, bright orange color, rugged floor and functionality of this sling style. It's big enough for all my stuff, but yet not too big to drag me down. I use it mainly for work although, it works well for my bike and gym excursions. I expect this bag to last a long long time. Glad I bought it."

"I ended up returning this because my laptop did not fit. Not easily anyway, I didn't want to have to finagle it in there. But my laptop is 15.5" not 15.4". Seemed like a good bag though. Appearance was good. Had nice pockets of different sizes for small items. Liked how you could use it with either shoulder, big plus. Make sure your laptop is the size it states our be willing to work it in there."

"I love this bag. It holds my 14" laptop with no problem and has several compartments for accessories and clothing. It's perfect for an overnight bag and saves wear and tear on my back. The strap reverses from left to right depending on your preference."

"This sling bag replaces another that I purchased four years ago (also by FUI on eBags). It hasn't been quite a month yet but I expect to get no less than four years of everyday use from this bag. It will get stuffed in a saddle bag (motorcycle), pushed under an airline seat, tossed in the seat of a car, slung over my shoulder while walking or riding my bike, it will transport my laptop, lunch, or whatever. This bag does it all! I showed it to a co-worker as I ordered it and shared my experience with him regarding my first bag (which he also saw and tried on)...Yes, of course he ordered one. I think his wife is going to clam it which means he'll be back online for a reorder. BOTTOM LINE: This bag does it all no matter your age, gender, or status...IT WORKS!"
