"This product does not do what it is advertised to do. An IPad is too heavy for the stand--it needs some sort of counterweight or to be made from a solid material to support the IPad. It doesn't seem to matter if the IPad is upright or sideways. That said, the stand is just the right fit and weight to support an IPhone and I kept it to use that way which works very well."
