"I'm not one to wear hats or caps but I wanted to buy some kind of hatwear to provide some sun protection to my face and eyes (in additon to sun glasses). I had cataract surgery on both eyes a few years ago and I still want to protect my eyes and hope to wear this visor not only while on vacation but on a more regular basis. The visor is quite comfortable worn while the band is on top of my hair as well as worn under my hair. I've read on other sites for this similar style that the band isn't that strong and after much usage the band will break if stretched too far. I'm glad eBags offers this style with all its brim and band colors/combinations by Helen Kaminski."

"I bought one of these when I was in Australia in 2004 and have worn it for golfing and shooting and sunny days ever since. In transporting it to Fla. from Pa this year, it got broken( band) and I could not wear it. Searched on the internet, purchased,and replaced it. Very pleased to have another Helen K visor!"

"This is such a cute visor. It looks great. However, it gives me a headache, is too tight even though I have a small head. I am currently "stretching" it out around a column in the hopes that it will be a bit looser. I have had this issue before with this type of visor. It is beautifully made, and if I can't wear it comfortably, will pass it on to my daughter. I bought it after I saw a girlfriend's (she has had it for years) and it was in great shape after lots of cramming into suitcases and wear on the golf course. I am hoping that my "stretching" idea will make it more usable for me."

"I adore Kaminski! Have used these visors everyday forever and traveled everywhere with mine...Only recently one of the plastic(?) shapers snapped and I was surprised because it was relatively new and I have had others for years with no trouble. If they are using a new vendor , they need to go back to the old one!"

"I love these visors.They are handsomely designed with good materials. I've had 3 different visors in the past years and comfortably wear them on various different occasions. I do wish there was readily available information about cleaning the headband. Unfortunately, the metal in the band of my last visor suddenly broke in half as I put it on. I do not have a big head and after 3 hats I am quite used to the spring of the headband. Alas, this visor was relatively new, too.!"

"The visor feels very sturdy and fits well on my forehead. I like this size because it doesn't block my vision. I ordered the Bettina as well, because I wasn't sure if I needed a larger visor for more coverage. This one is too big. I will have to return the Bettina."
