"The item pictured is not the item they send you. The one they send you is similar, but the bite-valve is the "elbow" bend valve with the clear end, which is harder to bite down on. It is not the blue, squishy rubber valve pictured (which I prefer). I am having to return my item, not sure if they'll send me the one I really wanted yet...The bag is the same, however. "I am happy with this hydration bladder. I read some negative comments about the mouthpiece, but I think it is fine. I am a Park volunteer and use the hydration pack on my frequent hikes; including a 16 mile hike yesterday."

"I bought this as a replacement to the one that came with my High Sierra hydration reservoir bag. I really like the improvments over the previous version. I like the straight mouthpiece instead of turned at 90degrees. I like the locking mouthpiece to fit drippage. I just dislike the smell of the plastic and slight flavor from the water that is the reservoir."
