"As a mom, I was really tired of buying several back packs during the school year. We bought something at a discount store that only survived 2 months. I finally came over here and found this High Sierra bag that 6 months later is still going strong. I purchased this one because of the size and durability (and because my 12 year old daughter loved the pattern) and were not disappointed. The fabric has really held up over plenty of curbs, etc. the wheels are still smooth and the zippers did not have any issues getting stuck or broken. It has totally served us well. I will buy another one like this next year."

"I wanted something to wheel as I have arthritis in my shoulders and back, always carried a purse or travel bag and suffered the pain. With this I can even put my purse (small) into this and wheel it. Fits almost all the way under seat on plane, leaves me a small space for my feet. I LOVE IT. Holds all I want to take , pills, jewerly, snicks, ebook, etc."

"My daughter loves this bag. For once she has a bag that will stand up, even with it's wheels. It has enough zip pockets to keep things organized but not too many to forget where things are. The zippers are the best I've seen, even over Lands End and LL Bean. The construction is excellent."

"My daughter tortured this bag for 6 months, and now we're starting on its second school year. She lugged around at least 20 lbs. of books and miscellaneous school supplies in it on a daily basis. I'm really impressed with how well it has stood up to constant (and careless) use. There's plenty of storage for a middle schooler and the handle is adjustable to the height of the person using it. The only wear I see is in the lining where it has rubbed against the frame- there's about a 1/2 inch tear. It cleaned up nicely and is ready to roll!"

"This backpack gets daily use by a very active third-grader who is not gentle with it by any stretch of the imagination. It rolls well (if a little loudly), no problems raising or lowering the handle, and it has held up beautifully over the past six months. I would recommend it highly."

"The item looks good but it was a lot bigger than I expected...I am 5' and it's huge on me so it would be great for a tall person (it fits my 6' husband perfectly). The outside pocket's inner lining ripped right away so that was cheap and annoying. I do like that it fits a lot of stuff since I use it for storage now since it was too big for my 1st grade son to use for school. It would also be good as an overnight bag."

"Great bag - except wish the handle was built better - I bought this bag for my son who is in 1st grade and he has quite a few books to carry everyday along with this lunch bag. So this bag was perfect - spacious and looks sturdy. The bag rolls on smoothly and my son absolutely loves the quiet wheels. But one main concern for us is the handle. Even though the handle seems to have a little notch to stop half way, it doesn't stay in that position and extends all the way when trying to roll along. The extended handle is a bit too long for my son, and when he rolls the bag, it is almost parallel to the ground. Very inconvenient. Thankfully, for now he doesn't have to take his bag around much in school, so it is working for the time being. Also the handle doesn't seem it can last long, but will wait and see how it goes."

"Purchased for my 5th grade son. The bag was not durable in the material which showed wear quickly. The handle snapped off. Bought a Jan Sport and it seems to be better. The handle is a double bar rather than a single."

"Excellent size for a small carry-on, very lightweight (which is a boon when traveling economy class)--and it is attractive, too. I fit my laptop, clothing and accessories in it. This would be great for mountaineering, as it was designed, but it also serves to utilize airline travel. Highly recommended for either purpose."

"The backpack just lasted 5 months because the pull handle broke. The exterior and interior are in excellent conditions, but the pull handle does not seem to be of good quality. I'll not buy this product again as my target is that the backpack lasts at least the whole school year."
