"Flew from Boston to Calgary Canada to do some skiing in Banff. The bag easily held my skis, polls, boots, helmet and ski clothes. Easily wheeled through the airport and through the hotel. Only problem was United Airlines put a small tear in the bag . A piece of duck tape covers it. A good bag, but material could be a bit thicker to stand up to the abuse from the airlines."

"If you are planning to use this bag for a once a year ski trip you should be fine. There is minimal padding and the material is VERY thin. As most people have said, there is room for clothes/jackets/hats. Use these items to pack around and protect your skis. I can't imagine this bag lasting through multiple ski trips every winter. If protecting your skis is very important to you, this is not the bag for you. Im already online looking at more expensive bags that I hope have thicker material and more padding. The only padding is around the bindings. I do have other bags that are way thicker but I was looking for a bag to put two pair of skis/clothes and with wheels. Since the airlines are charging for multiple bags, my goal was to stuff this bad boy FULL! This bag allows for that but just not the protection I am looking for. Hope this helps...."

"After the first flight one wheel was broken and the handles ripped off. Also some damage to the plastic sewn on panel at the bottom. Very thin material. DO NOT buy this bag for air travel!!!"

"The bag is a great deal for the price. I could fit many clothes around the skis, in fact, so many that I had to remove some to keep it under 50 pounds so that I would not be charged extra at the airport. The skis are tied down with straps on the inside. I found that they aligned best when facing opposite directions. The wheels are a back saver in the airport."

"Much better quality than I expected for the price. Great value. Very sturdy and easy to handle through the airport. I bought it to take two pair of skis from NJ to Utah and back. Rated at 185 cm and my largest pair of 184 cm fit nicely. Good padding around the bindings with a padded center divider between the two pairs. Four internal straps to hold everything in place and two external straps to cinch up excess bag material. Still plenty of room after two pair and poles to stow some clothing."

"Great bag! We fit in two pairs of skis, one set of ski boots, and miscellaneous ski wear. The wheels on the bag made the handling almost effortless. No problems with zippers, wheels, fabric. So glad we purchased this bag."

"Purchased this bag to carry my wife's and my skis on a flight to the Rockies, since the airlines count a ski bag and boot bag as one item for baggage charges, regardless of whether the ski bag contains one or two pairs. (The 2nd pair of boots goes into our regular luggage.) Haven't used the new ski bag yet, but it seems to be well designed for transporting and protecting two pairs of skis and poles. Though the bag is considerably longer than our skis, its end can be folded over and cinched with one of the external belts, which then serves as makeshift pull handle. Fully loaded, the bag maneuvers comfortably on its wheels. On the rare occasions when it would need to be carried using the shoulder strap, it would be a bit unwieldy as its load is asymmetrical. All in all, however, it seems as if it will be a worthwhile addition to our air travel luggage."

"Nicely designed and fitted bag - had good replacement experience with Sierra when zipper broke (came "loose" at the wrong end) due to TSA / baggage rigors. Wheels are very handy, and they don't impair "regular" handling features - straps, handles, etc. Good quality nylon, plenty of room for extra gear in the ongoing battle v. airlines and baggage pricing. Good product, good company."

"I got this for a snowboard, cut the middle divider out and some of the ski straps. Now it's a mostly awesome board bag with plenty of room for boots, outerwear, helmet, small boot dryer and more."
