"Did A LOT of comparison shopping and this bag is definitely the lightest on the market for its size. It also is good looking and more roomy than you'd expect for a 25" bag. I had 2 criteria when shopping: bag had to be 1) light, and 2) NOT black. Check and check (I got it in lava). Organization features are good. Roomy outer pocket (can hold 2 jackets or several sweaters), small outer pocket (for items like ticket/ID/makeup pouch), zippered inside compartment on lid to keep folded items contained/flat (though very tight if you're packing a suit/sports jacket), and a big main compartment. I just vacationed 2 weeks in the Pacific Northwest: summer there you have to pack for hot and cold -- depending on where you are and luck of the draw it could be as low as upper 30s at night or as high as 90s during the day, so you have to take a lot of options. I am definitely not a light packer under any circumstances and I easily fit all the clothes/toiletries/electronic chargers/books/shoes (3 pair) I needed *and* still had room to take my 2-person tent (which is +/- 6 lbs and packs to a roll about 20 x 8"). Only criticism is the flimsy tie-down straps in the main compartment. For a bag that seems so well constructed otherwise, the straps to secure the bulk of your stuff seem disproportionately lightweight. I have only used the bag twice, but so far holding up fine under the airlines callous handling. If you're looking for a super lightweight bag for longer trips, this is it. It's amazing how saving a pound or two on your bag weight can make a difference in what you can take as cargo. Shop around for price... can be had for under $90 (kind of incredible!) with a little looking."

"I was traveling by coach when the luggage compartment door on the coach flew open and this bag flew out. Despite hitting the pavement at high speed, the bag sustained no structural damage and only a little light scuffing on some surfaces. Most importantly, the zippers held fast. I bought this bag primarily because of its light weight, but discovered that in addition to being light, this is an extremely durable bag."

"We bought two of these for an international trip we were taking, as our old luggage was too big. This suitcase was the perfect size to keep our packing within the allowed weight restrictions: it helped that the bag itself is so lightweight. Everything on the bag worked well, and the green color made it easy to spot on the luggage carousel. The only complaint I have is not really with the bag but with the airline: the airline managed to get one of the wheels wedged on something and wore it down to the axle."

"Very light. An excellent, attractive design. Operates well; easy to handle, doesn't fall over, rolls well. Minor negatives - light construction makes sides not very stiff (we'll see how it holds up); fit of seams was not as consistent as it could be in places. In summary though, I would buy this again."

"I bought this bag for my mother, in preparation for a trip to Europe we were planning. We would be traveling 2-weeks, mostly by train. I knew that my mother would be limited in her ability to lift a bag overhead, for storage on the train, if it was too heavy. So, a smallish bag that was lightweight was what I was looking for. This High Sierra bag performed really well in this regard and was plenty big for my mom's needs (we're not heavy packers). Its maneuverability and ease of use on trains and other public transportation was great, and it even did well rolling over some pretty uneven terrain in the cities and villages we visited. As for long-term durability - time will tell. There is not much structure to the sides of the bag (reducing weight), though the corners seem adequately reinforced. Organization was fairly typical for this size roller bag, with enough pockets to keep organized but nothing extra. All in all, it fit the bill for the circumstances of our travel."

"This thing is junk. First one I got - handle didn't work, so I sent for a replacement. Now that one, the wheel is stuck, so I'm sending this one back. Don't buy this. Choose another!"

"The size is pretty good: I've used this for several long-weekend trips and maybe a week-long. It's just enough bigger than a carry-on to be useful without being too big. But: it's a piece of junk. The zippers stick and after the first flight, the telescoping handle catches and I have to yank on it to pull it out all the way. You get what you pay for and next time I'll pay more."

"Very light weight bag saves your baggage allowance for your baggage. Softsides expand to accomodate extras. Unusual color makes it easy to find on the baggage carousel. This bag has seen dozens of international trips thus far and is holding up well. Extra handle on bottom makes lifting easy. Rolls quietly and easily."

"Very convenient bag. It is really lightweight, and even stuffing it as full as it can possibly get with clothes will not hit 50lbs. Very easy to carry and wheel around. The downside of that lightweight is that the suitcase itself is not really substantial. Even when fully packed, the sides don't stay really straight. Carrying the bag by the handles flexes the sides out. Also since the sides aren't hard, you do need to protect any fragile items you pack. And there are no compartments to the suitcase, it is all one big open area. If those issues aren't a problem, then this is a great suitcase. It works for us, as we usually travel with two suitcases, and use this one to carry all the clothes and the other to carry toiletries and other more fragile stuff that we want to compartmentalize."
