"The backpack is the size and type I was looking for, but it did not stand up to the rigors I put it through. I was looking for a pack which would be relatively light weight, but stand up to winter requirements. I was winter backpacking to Maine's highest peaks. We were towing sleds attached to the backpack as we were snowshoeing into the park. The ice axe loop pulled out the first day in. The next day hiking up the peaks with snowshoes, ice axes and crampons, the one ice axe loop was still usable. After only 4 days use, although it was hard usage, the sternum strap pulled out of the shoulder strap. I either need the pack repaired or can send it back for replacement."
