"This item arrived today. I cannot believe how happy I am :) After some initial doubt and hesitation at decision making time, I'm so glad I ordered it. I'm a teacher who travels to work every day with public transportation and must carry quite a load: plastic lunch containers, water bottles, a coffee themos, books, supplies, etc. Well, you get the picture. Everything I tried so far (various backpacks, messenger bags, shopping bags, etc. hasn't worked. Either too small or too clumsy, fragile, etc. This bag is advertised as a ski equipment or under seat duffel bag. But the size, strength and shape are just *PERFECT* for my daily carry-to-work needs. The material is extremely light weight, yet very strong reinforced nylon. There is a drop down zippered bottom that I will use for snow shoes, etc. to separate from main compartment items (books, food containers, oversized water bottle, supplies, etc. Finally, a bag that meets all my daily carry-to-work needs. And if I buy a few items (milk, bread, etc.) on my way home from work, there will still be room. I also love the way the shoulder strap is made. You can remove the padded part, adjust the length of the strap to your carry style (over the shoulder, wrap around body, etc.)and then replace the padded cushion part back on to the strap. (Most carry straps do NOT allow you to do this. If you shorten the strap too much, the padded part isforced to the exreme end of the strap where it cannot be used.) In conclusion: Don't hesitate to buy bags advertised for specific functions (ski bag, under airline seat bag) for other purposes. Don't hesitate to get this bag!"
