"This bag works great for the money, got it on sale and it was actually cheaper than the smaller ones with less storage. The High Sierra models are also much cheaper than other versions. This model from High Sierra is nice because it has a significantly bigger storage compartment. It also can hold a bike helmet with a stowaway mesh unit. The taste of the water will be a bit off for the first month or so of uses, but that will soon fade away. Pack fully loaded with ice and water doesn't feel too heavy and the water actually runs out faster than you would expect. This is a great pack not just for bike riding, but for hiking, running, and I will also use it for softball and other recreational sporting events. Would definitely buy again for the price!"

"I liked this pack a lot. I used it for the first time during my first ever 7k run and while the chest strap was too small for me (I'm 6Ɗ" 400lbs) it wasn't really needed. With the water, several compact cameras, and phones I didn't really feel too weighed down by the pack. Cleaning the water pouch isn't very easy and I'll probably need to get a long brush that is skinny enough to reach inside. I'd used some sports enhancer powers in my water and even though I drained and rinsed the pack there's still a slight stain at the bottom. Taking it appart wasn't too dificult but it's not as easy as I think they could make it if they just had a velcro top that flipped over the cap area so you could slide it up and out. Was perfect for my needs though, held enough fluids for my run and had room for our groups accessories so we didn't have to carry stuff in our pockets."

"For some reason the mouth piece is leaking, it is a pain to hold it the whole time I am hiking and can't seem to figure out why it's leaking or find the right replacement for it."

"It's hard to take out the water reservoir. It can also be a pain to fill it up while it's already in the bag. Other than that, it's a fine hiking backpack. It has room for a camera and a little first aid kit, which are my essentials."

"I ride my road bike to work and everything is great except for the h2o pack itself. Love the construction, even holds my helmet after riding, plenty of storage for wallet, phone even a sandwich. The hard part is when you have to remove the water pack itself. It's just more complicated than it has to be."

"We've had this brand of hydration pack previously and were very pleased with the durability and organization of the pack so other items can be carried as well. Very well made. We will keep on buying."

"The two downsides of the pack is that the tube is hard to unscrew from the water pack: either you have to remove the tube so you can make it rotate (to unscrew) or you have to rotate the pack around the tub. Not practical. It also would have been great to have a little clasp in front to stabilize the pack. Overall though, a great pack!"

"Just as other reviewers stated it is not easy to take apart and clean. Goes back together much quicker when done. That being said, I love the compartments, just enough. And it has really been useful."
