"I bought this bag and a fuel rolling back pack to compare. The Jansport is smaller and a bit lighter and more compact than the fuel 59.99 from costco online. The fuel is well made and seems a bit sturdier, both handles are excellent and both wheels are good. When I do touring during my travels i like to bring my necessities with us and roll the pack along, and the jansport wins out due to its smaller size and can fit under the plane seat. I think the fuel is slightly bigger and they may make me put overhead and make look just a little big on tour where they might make me check it at museums and such. The price is right on the fuel and it does have a few more extra pockets and organizational compartments including a padded slot for electronics just like Jansport. My husband can use the Fuel and I'll take Jansport!"

"I bought this backpack after I broke my back and needed to baby my back for about a year while I recovered and re-built my strength. Using this backpack allowed me to carry everything I needed (laptop, lunch, etc.) to work on wheels. This did the trick. I've always liked the durability of JanSport and their prices are more than reasonable. Now that my back has healed I mostly use my much lighter weight backpack (no wheels), also a JanSport. This one still comes in very handy for travel, as it is quite roomy. I've only used it as a backpack once, it's really not meant for that, but it is an option, especially if you get caught in the rain and don't want to roll it through muck."

"Since this is larger than any other backpack I have bought, I felt it should be bigger, in all ways. The shoulder straps are designed for a child, very short, and difficult for a grown man to get on, and even harder to get it off your back. The draw handle is nice and long, that is a plus, but the first one I purchased within less than 6 months, its handle came right out of the backpack making it useless. Within 2 weeks, one of the zipper pulls came right off, so I had to use a paper clip as a pull on it. I have bought a second one to use, and am going to send in the first one for warrantee replacement. Since this is the most expensive backpack roll along I have every purchased, I really felt it would be of better quality. It's good, but far from the great bag I expected it to be for the money. I remember when you could buy a cheap bag that would last 2 years or so before falling apart. I have been using them and doing this job for over 23 years. Hopefully they redesign it so that it is stronger and has longer better back straps."
