"I had the same backpack (different color) for about 5 years, which I used daily for school middle school and High School. I decided it was time for a new one for college since it got quite worn out. For some inexplicable reason, JanSport stopped using the extremely comfortable silicon type gel in the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps on this item are now not nearly as comfortable as they once were. I may be looking to switch brands soon."

"I initially brought another brand and w/in 2 weeks one of the zippers broke. Past experience led me back to Jansport. This backpack has everything i need- 2 water bottle compartments and enough organizational pockets for all my things, including a large laptop. I can tell the bag is made from quality material and therefore very durable, which is one of the top qualities I look for. Bravo Jansport!"

"I purchased this bag because I was disappointed in my previous backpack and the Equinox has gone above and beyond. It has a ton of storage space and is organized quite nicely. My main reason for purchasing it, though, was because of its fabric: so far this bag has been completely waterproof, which was a problem in my previous pack. I've carried this bag to school in pouring rain and all my papers were completely dry after arriving to my office. As other people have mentioned, the zippers seem slightly tenuous, but so far this bag has been great. I would definitely recommend it -- it's big, comfortable, well-organized, and waterproof!"
