"Great value. Fit only commentary. Gridfit framesheet is very adjustable; most internal frames adjust torso height only but you can also adjust for shoulder width (for male/female). 16-19" torso fits us at 5' to 5Ǝ normal build, probably ok for up to 6' with normal build but bigger shoulder girths may max out the load lifters on the shoulder straps. Stable with 30# test load. Comparable design and fit with our REI 65 ridgeline which we've used extensively; REI feels more stable under heavy loads but you buy the S/M/L frame and can adjust the contours or the aluminum stays but its also 2x the price. If you stay below 30# I don't know if you can tell the difference. Hip padding is firm, belt cinches to 28", and its removable. Nice ventilation pad between shoulders and hips. Pack shape slightly more vertical and narrow compared to other 65liter bags but easy to pack and use with bottom divider zipper. No problem fitting 3# 20 degree synthetic bag into bottom compartment and zipping the divider but if you use a compression sack, you'd keep in open for more flexible loading anyway. 4 side and 2 vertical compression straps for compacting load weight. Zippered outer back pocket a nice feature. Has pad straps, daisy chain and loops. No zippered pouches on shoulder straps or hip belt which are always useful but a minor complaint."
