"I purchased this jansport bag for my 12 yr. old daughter for school. And I have to tell you that it has been the best investment i've made by far!!! I can't tell you how many textbooks she carries around, lunchbag, gym clothes, well you know (need i say 12yr.old girl)...and this bag can handle it all.

"This backpack can hold up to four textbooks,one workbook,and four composition notebooks with a pencil case.The padding in the back and the shoulder straps help while going up many stairs.Jansport makes very good quality backpacks that last a lifetime.I would definetly buy another one!"

"My son who is a 6th grader loves this backpack. He loves the design and comfort. It is sturdy, comfortable on his back even though he carries a heavy load...I tried it myself and cant believe that it doesn't seem as heavy on the back. This one seems just as comfy as the ergonomic types. He carries a large two inch binder, 4 full sized textbooks and two composition notebooks. It's quite a load when yout pick it up, but seems light when it's on the back. It's surprisingly roomy too...I thought I would need the bigger one, but this one is big enough. And although it doesn't have lots of extra pockets, the front pocket is enough for his pencils, has a slot for his lunch money and room for other supplies."

"We purchased this bag for my seventh grader, who had destroyed a few bags before it. This bag held up the entire school year and still looks great. We were so used to throwing away her backback every year, it had become a ritual. They'll be no throwing it away this year, although she'd like a new design for eighth grade."
