"The item is roomy, has good organization structure for the most part and seems to be well made as I have come to expect JanSport products to be. Unfortunately, the "carrying" design is awkward and the bag is too big and becomes easily off balance. The straps are large and comfortable, but not easily adjustible (nor with appropriate adjustments) to make it easy to carry. Over the shoulder hits right between the neck and the shoulder blade, rendering the entire upper arm and neck area painful. The small "handle" for hanging/carrying is not sufficient enough to support the bag weight so it either pulls at the material (when hanging) or kills your hand/fingers (when carrying). When used over the back as a messenger bag, the lack of appropriate adjustments causes the bag to "flail" all over one's backside, never coming to a suitable position for long term travel. And, unless you cram the bag full, the contents slide and the bag is useless as a messenger bag (I ride my bike to work frequently)."

"I wanted a bag for my laptop to take to and from classes, and this is exactly what I had in mind. My laptop fits perfectly inside, and there is room for a couple books and notebooks, plus room for extras. I wanted something more than a plain black bag. "I love this messenger bag! It has everything I was looking for and seems to have the quality JanSport construction I've become accustomed to. The zipper compartment on the outside flap is handy for items that you need to access. This bag fits my computer with a 15.6" screen with ease and I feel comfortable knowing it is secure. I can fit my laptop, a couple binders, and a couple notebooks in this messenger easily. I love the style and color options. I definitely recommend buying this bag!"

"I had been looking for another bag for all most 2 years, i needed one that could also hold books and papers and this bag does a very nice job and it also holds everything very nice so it is not all over so went i move about the the paper and books are not jumping about as i walk. I just love the out side pocket here I can put all my keys and my glass/sunglass. One thing I would like is a long pocket in the back of the bag so I could a file that I would need as I go into the class room this would just say me time."
