"Interesting design. The kick out stand is spring loaded and connected to the arm straps so that putting the pack on pulls the stand in and tensions the arm straps at the same time. You take the pack off and the stand deploys. Padding seems reasonable amd materails are sturdy."

"This was a gift for my son and daughter-in-law. She actually carries her 17 month-old daughter around so she can hold her 3 and a half year old's hand and manage other packages. She tells me this is a very useful carrier, and it's one she can get her daughter into and on her back by herself - no easy task! It sits on a flat surface like a chair so she can place her daughter into it and then mount it up on her back with the baby securely in it."
