"I bought two of these bags for my first- and second-grade children. Not only are they great looking bags, but they have been quite durable for the six months we have used them. I bought them knowing they were on the smaller side but thinking my kids are small and didn't need a giant bag to tote around. They were just large enough for each of them to carry a folder and lunch to school, but, now that it's winter and we need to carry snow pants and boots, we have found them to be too small. We will keep them around for scouts, camping, and hiking, but now are looking into purchasing larger bags for school."

"I bought this bag for my 4 year old to take to school. His other backpack provided by the school developed holes within a couple months. He takes his change of clothes and a lunch bag (snack with water bottle) daily plus a thin hoody or fleece jacket. The orange is a bright and easy color to see and straps are easy to put on his shoulders. Zippers are smooth and rarely jam as on other back pack brands. It's a good size for a 3-4-5 year old. He can pack it and unpack with ease. I highly recommend it and it has stayed clean for the most part. He just takes to school and back. We do not take it out for hikes or anything outdoorsy."

"The backpack does not have a place for pencils and pens in the front pocket and hard sided binder does not fit in the main compartment. The size is just right for small kids. This is a great bag for my preschooler who does not have to bring supplies to school but I will need to by a new backpack for kindergarten."
