The biggest downfall is the color because it shows the dirt and mud more than a darker color would. My daughter is 15 and weighs 100 lbs. "The bag adjusted great to my body type (5 3) so that I could carry the weight when completely full without difficulty. I was able to fit all that I needed for a 10 day trip. My only complaint is that due to the light color of the bag it shows scuffs. After my first trip with the bag as checked luggage it had a number of black marks from getting thrown around. No tears or anything, it appears durable just a cosmetic issue."

"Good sized, will be using for a 3 week hike in the Alps so just doing local hikes now to get the feel. I am thin so it is nearly too big on the hip belt because it is cinched down nearly as small as it will go.That could be a concern once I am on my hike as I would anticipate a weight loss. Otherwise, has all of the bells and whistles I was looking for."
