"We searched for many months to find a durable backpack to replace our old one. We do a lot of backpacking in the summer and wanted one that would last a long time. We used this one for a week vacation in Glacier National Park to "break it in." We are very happy with it so far."

"Good, simple daypack that doesn't look like a kid's school backpack (I'm an older guy and I wanted something conservative). Great if you only need a single large main compartment and a smaller section for organizing small items. Use it for weekend trips, can handle a change of clothes and my DSLR. Good for strolling street fairs and accommodating my wife¿s purchases. Lightweight and still comfortable when full. Very happy with the charcoal color and well made from nice materials. Don't understand why they put ice axe loops on inexpensive daypacks like these. How many people use it for that purpose? Not crazy about the extruded aluminum tubes over the knotted zipper pull cords. Would prefer the plastic ones that enclose the cord ends that other manufacturers use."

"Great travel backpack. Good organization. Exceptional appearance. Not too big, not too small. Perfect as a companion carryon."

"It is a nice backpack, but too big to use as a backpack to take to school. This is a day pack for someone who is going on a hike and is bigger in size."

"Worked great traveling through airports/carry on luggage. It took quite a beating at times. Once in California the bag was at my side or on my back continuously. Lots of space for electronics, tickets, wallet, books, etc.. One negative thing that I noticed after returning to Michigan was how the cold temperatures (20 degrees F) effected the material of the pack. The material was very stiff & brittle, not at all how it was in warmer temps."

"This backpack is less organized and it lacks proper padding for carrying a laptop. Other than that it is a nice/durable backpack."

"The backpack looks great and is awesome however it is simply too small. It will not fit all my books comfortably, let alone my laptop. I bought this looking for some room (its a camping/backpacking brand) and I ended up getting a bag that was smaller than my 6 year old crappy Nike book bag. Just today, I got one of the side clips stuck under my chair and it ripped halfway off when I unknowingly gave it a tug. Now that I've attempted to sew it back in place, it looks like I officially own this darn little backpack."

"Held up to my use as a carryall for working in a rough environment. I always use it in a one shoulder sling fashion so fit isn't super important. Kelty has always made rock solid, affordable bags."
