"I love the bag. It Fulfill all that I wanted in a travel bag. The compartment, the light weight the waist belt. Only minor gripe is that, in the description it mention that the waist belt is removable but actually it's not removable unless if you want the bar to poke through the bag. I wanted to be able to detach the waist belt when I fly. The advise I got from Kelty support is: "When I travel, I simply turn the waist belt ¿backwards¿ so that instead of circling your waist, it circles the back pack instead. You usually have to re-adjust the waist belt accordingly, but I find that it kind of makes the pack more stable, and you don¿t have the waist belt dangling loose""

"I wanted to find a carry-on backpack that could accommodate weeks' or months' worth of essential things in a compact space.¿ After poring over travel blogs to research travel backpacks, I decided to go for Kelty Redwing 40 for form, function, and price. This backpack has the most attractive design at the most affordable price. If you have a short torso and/or are petite like me, the Redwing 40 fits you well. I've even read a good number of reviews by taller people who love it. It's also sturdy and light. There are also plenty of compartments. If you know how to pack well, it's amazing how much can be stuffed into the backpack!"

"This is the perfect "everything" bag for me,it's my "Just Right" Goldilocks bag. Bought if for a 6-week central America/Europe backpacking trip on which I wanted to travel with a sleek and stylish carry-on only. It's not a top loading bag so it has much better accessibility than many of the bags I looked at in this size range which is perfect for travel. It's also more versatile because of that, it doesn't look silly when under-packed so it works great for school or groceries as well. And finally is rugged and roomy enough for camping and overnight hiking trips worth plenty of spaces to strap larger items outside. It's really a very good, high quality and well thought out bag and the price is unbeatable."
