"My cousin bought this bag, so I bought the same one after intense research. I loved the colour, but I have to admit that the bright material gets somewhat faded and marked when checked in as luggage. It can be used as a carry-on, but you have to remove the single steel bar inside. Overall this bag is a good size - not one of those huge travel bags people live out of for months. I'm not a super light or heavy traveller, but I estimate you can fit 4-5 days of clothes in here reasonably well. If travelling with my computer and other accessories, an extra bag is needed. It is comfortable to wear, easy to adjust, and includes handles on top and front for picking up. I like the 2 bottle holders on each side, as well as the extra compartments on each side above the bottle holders. On the inside next to the back is a large pouch that I put my papers and small books in; this kept them separated from the clothes and distributed the weight better. Highly recommended for trips less than a week."

"Great size for weekend trips. What I like about Kelty is the organization, especially the large pockets on the sides of the main chamber. Yes, pockets add a little weight, but it's easier to find things and stay organized. There is a pass-through behind the side pockets for tent poles, tripods and such. Or you can close the bottoms of the pass-throughs (Velcro) and you make two more open-air pockets. What you can't see in photos showing only the exterior: Kelty was smart and used a light-colored fabric inside to contrast your gear, helping you better locate things in the dark. I was happily surprised to find that out. Zipper pulls are made of cord clad in contrasting color aluminum tubes to help your grasp. It's a well thought-out design and a stylish execution."

"My wife bought this backpack for me because when I travel overseas for my work (humanitarian aid and international relief organization), I like to have all of my stuff with me on the plane since I go into some tough places. This time it was 2 weeks in Afghanistan. The backpack performed beautifully! I was able to take 2 weeks of stuff with me in one bag. It even survived a few trips in the cargo holds of planes in Dubai and Kabul. Great bag and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wanted to use it like this or for daily use. Great storage, excellent organization, and it looks good, too. Well done, Kelty. This is my first venture into this manufacturer and I would buy more of your stuff."

"Great backpack that I use for both business and personal travel. I can easily pack a weeks worth of clothes and carry-on which is the best part. Besides being very functional...it's also very "cool" looking."

"It's OK, it just looks much more wrinkly & like plastic bag shiny plastic than the picture. I thought it would have more of a matt, fabric-like appearance and look more filled out & less flimsy. Outside of the aesthetics, functionally it seems fine."

"Wanted a larger bag to carry change of clothes and other items that I could store in overhead. Have used the bag on vacation as a beach backpack as well as an over-nighter for business. Well-made, comfortable, would recommend."

"I bought this for my sister, because she wanted a full zip backpack like mine. Well, this bag is way better than mine and I might have to buy one. Has tons of separate zipper sections, fits way more than you would think. We use our backpacks for vacations because we do not check luggage (I don't like my stuff going out of my sight) and it forces us to pack, well if not light...lighter. She was able to carry over a week's worth of winter gear for a our trip to China this winter, and still had room for her souveneirs."

"This is a great pack, the best that I have owned. Excelent organization with lots of adaptability. I have used it for a large carry on for a trip to Cozumel Mexico it worked great, held alot and fit into over head compartments with ease. The pass throughs behind the side pockets are great feature. I will be able to use this pack for short overnight backpacking trips. I have only had this pack for a short time but it apears that it will be very durable. Way to go Kelty"

"Everday pack for forestry field work. Very rugged...not as fancy or lightweight as some more expensive packs on the market but takes a serious beating, holds plenty of stuff, good organization. The only thing i would change is the part that comes in contact with your back. there are better designs with more airflow and suspension but if you want an everday pack that gets dirty, throw in the pick up and go this is the one."
