"Absolutely fantastic 50l bag. I personally use this for traveling, so the organization feels just right. I like that the main compartment unzips fairly far down, but you can also easily partially unzip it for top loading. I personally chose the Reserve over the other Redwing 50l bags because I really liked the color. Absolutely beautiful bag, but not garish. It's hard to find bags that look cool but not too technical. The extra organizational pouches provided for a laptop and a tablet (I used them for a 13 inch MacBook Air and an iPad) work pretty well too. The side pouches are a nice mid size range. It's a little awkward to make maximum use of them, but possible. If your goal is the most storage possible, I would personally get a bag with less compartments, as the main compartment in the Reserve does feel a tad smaller than a few other 50l bags I've tried. I also really like the compartment on the front of the bag. Tons of pouches for organizing travel-related paperwork, in my case. Overall, this bag won my attention in the 50l size because of the unique style, the killer organization, and the relatively lower price than competitors. As far as carrying it goes, it's quite comfortable, but I would give a slight edge to other bag brands in the comfort department. It's hardly perceptible, though, and is likely subjective."

"Haven't used this bag properly yet, just stuffed it full of clothes and packing cubes and so far I'm impressed. Love the color and the organization. Bag fits comfortably on my back which I was worried about as a taller guy (6Ɗ). Looking forward to traveling with this pack for road trips and flights. Hopefully I'll be able to use as a carry on. Quality bag at such an affordable price point."

"Bought this for a one week backpacking trip to europe because my rolly carry on was deemed too big by certain airlines on my last trip. I stuffed it to with packing cubes, cameras, ipad, cables, toiletries, the usual bring on a trip like that and it didnt show any signs of giving way, even when it was stuffed to the brim at some point. The pocket inside of the top compartment is a pretty secure place for passports/documents. The space between the front compartments and the body of the bag is a really convenient place for sweaters while traveling. This is my first time using a technical bag like that but the weight was well transferred to my hips so it was comfortable carrying 10-12kg around. I'm 5' 11". About flying with this bag, I was on Wizz, RyanAir, WOW and EasyJet. I was also on two trains. None of them questioned the size of my bag for their overhead compartments. I did however pay for Wizz's large cabin bag add-on when booking online because they seemed @%#@ about it. I may not have needed to actually. The bag 's minimum height is 23". Even without the aluminum stay in (there's a hard plate in the back that maintains its shape). I was able to fit the bag into the overhead bins height-wise/bottom in for all but one of the budget planes (didn't pay attention to the aircraft models). Nice color :)"
