"I just set the tent up by myself in my backyard for the first time. It probably took me a total of 15 minutes. The instructions are almost worthless. They are a combo 4 person/ 6 person (4 to 6 have significant differences), 1 page paper instructions. With a little common sense and experience setting up tents, not a real big deal. It's nice that it has pockets on all 4 corners of the tent. They are a little on the smaller side, but not bad. I'm 5 4" and one of the reasons I purchased this tent was so we could stand up straight in it. I'm a little disappointed that with the top mesh gear loft installed, neither of us will be able to stand up straight. But as long as you don't need the extra storage not a real big deal. The vestibules are on the smaller side, and you will have to use caution to stay dry in rain, but manageable. I got this tent after doing a lot of research on it to replace a Field & Stream Estate 4 Person that I got at a super deal. We used this tent twice camping this year and I didn't like that you had to use the guy lines to keep it standing. My husband is terrible at setting up tents, so he complained a lot about it, but I set that one up at home by myself then and figured out better methods. I may just keep it bc in several ways I like it better. Without the rain fly on the Kelty there is NO privacy. The F&S tent had zip down "windows" and a mesh top that gave you privacy without the rainfly which we never used bc we had good weather. It was nice seeing the night sky. You would not want to do that with the Kelty bc you would be on display to anyone or anything nearby. The Kelty feels a little stuffy even vented out with the rainfly on. I think I am going to keep both for the time being. I will test the Kelty on a few camping trips to see how the venting does. Now in really bad weather I am certain that the Kelty will do better."
