"The perfect invention of having a compartment for a laptop and an ipad in one with other storage options. GREAT!"

"I was expecting a nice bag, but have nonetheless been pleasantly surprised by this item. It has a nice clean look, is not too heavy, holds its shape well, and is comfortable to carry. The pockets and organizers are all well-sized: big enough to be useful, but not so large as to become cluttered. The iPad sleeve is vertical, which makes it more easily accessible. The laptop sleeve is generous, leaving me room to tuck in a file folder or two as well. The magnetic clasps that hold the flap down can take a bit of fiddling to seat properly, but hold securely once they are. A quick-access sleeve on the back is also magnetically secured, and is perfect for items that need to be quickly accessed (or put away) without opening the main compartment."

"This is a very attractive messenger bag that I know, having seen kenneth cole leather messenger bags age, will become increasingly attractive with time and use. The tan is attention getting without being loud. It's just the right tan for those who like this color. Organization is well done. I disagree with other reviewers who say the ipad holder is in a bad position. I can't really think of where else it could go. My ipad is in a leather case and still fits comfortably in its place. The computer holder is padded, and easily accommodates a generous sized laptop. That being said, this may not be the best bet for students who have a laptop, ipad, and textbooks as after placing my laptop and ipad in the bag, there is room only for small folders or text books. A large textbook may fit, however, the magnetic fasteners don't close properly and the bag looks a bit bulky. Akin to other kenneth cole bags, this bag may benefit from having not having external magnetic clasps and those that are within the leather. Oh well. For $110, this really is a great looking bag. I just need to figure out if the size is something that works for me. If you mainly carry a laptop and a few other essentials, this is perfect. If you're used to a large, high school style backpack that held a heft of books, i'd look in to more utilitarian choices."

"Love the bag overall. Good organization and holds a lot. But my problem is that I had the bag for 5 months and the left front snap cover that holds the magnet to the actual bag itself came off and upon examination the little metal tabs that secured the snap to the bag broke so I can't close/snap the bag securely. I was not carrying a laptop in it, just files and papers/pens and misc for work. Was very disappointed to spend that kind of money and only have it last 5 months. Am going to have to spend more money and take in into a leather repair shop to have it fixed."

"Clean lines, smart look. Excellent partitions and interior storage options. The only negative would be the somewhat limited storage. Anything more than a laptop, ipad, and a folder or thin book, etc makes the bag bulge, and thus the snaps hard to snap. Still usable and decent looking, but still a consideration. If you will be consistently carrying a lot of stuff, might want another option. That being said I typically car a 1" textbook, 1" binder, a notepad or 2 and it works fine (I don't bother snapping the snaps)."

"This is a great item. My husband has a leather Kenneth Cole messenger back that has stood up through it all, and I knew I wanted one when I took a job that required heavy commute. This was the most feminine-looking Kenneth Cole bag I could find, and it hasn't let me down. I typically carry my computer, my charger, a Kindle Fire, a notebook and a planner along with little things like pencils, basic makeup and a snack. It holds it all really well. I love that it has an extra pouch for a tablet. It's meant for an iPad, so it's a little too roomy for my Kindle, but it works great anyway. I'm a teacher, and this bag works great for me. It's professional enough that I don't feel silly wearing it with formal clothes (I work at a school that requires formal dress), but its still functional for my long commute (about an hour, two train switches). The only real downside is that the enclosures are magnetic clasps, so if the back is overstuffed at ALL they won't close. I solved this problem by taking it to a tailor and having them sew two lines of Velcro up both sides of the underside of the flap in a color that matched the bag. It was really inexpensive (about $15) and it's made the bag much more manageable. Another negligible downside is the pocket on the bag has already started to wrinkle. I walk about a mile a day with this bag, so the wear and tear is probably abnormal. But, because my leg brushes up against that pocket while I walk it's already started to look odd. This doesn't detract from the overall beauty of the bag, however. Just an observation. I also wish it had outside pockets for a phone. It does have an inside pocket that fits my iPhone perfectly, but it's a little bit of a hassle to open the bag every time I need my phone in commute."

"Have gone through many bags and never found the one that felt quite right. This bag looks great, carries my laptop and iPad securely and still place for the cables. In addition I can still get a couple of manilla folders, magazine, keys, cell phone, pens etc. All in all an excellent bag for the price."

"Worst purchase ever. Do not buy. I'm a graduate student and use the bag for classes. After about 3 months of owning the bag, one of the magnetic buttons tore off. Quite literally, the fabric holding the magnetic buttons is so loose, that the magnetic force is strong enough to rip the button off. Basically, I opened the messenger bag one day and the button ripped off the fabric and was still fastened to the magnetic snap. Surprisingly, the button breaking isn't what frustrated me the most. What was the most annoying was the leather dye leaving black marks on my pants any time and every time I wore khakis, something none of my other bags have done in the past. It is not as though I was rubbing the bag all over my pants to create friction and rub some of the dye on the pants leg. I wore it like any other person, to and from class slung over my shoulder, and also on my train commutes to campus."

"This is a nice bag for the price. Just so you know, the bag will not hold a lot of stuff (which is what I was looking for). It can carry an ipad, small laptop, a book and a few folders comfortably but not much else without the magnetic clasps staining at the bulk. It looks nice when not overloaded, but loses its lines when you pack too many things into it. Just so you know, the strap is not leather which was a surprise to me. All in all, I am happy with this purchase, it keeps me from carrying around my entire desk."

"It's great, but the placement of the top handle is ridiculous. It's just far enough back that if you use it, it tilts the contents of the bag forward and half your items slide out. Foolish design."

"Great for going to meetings...holds all of my papers and needed files, iPad, etc. Love the smooth texture of the leather. Seems very sturdy. I like the magnets that hold it shut, too."
