"I had several years of experience with an inexpensive leather attache. The leather scuffed rather easily and one latch completely snapped off after just two years. While this experience was largely negative, it did convince me of the value of the traditional black leather attache. I did considerable research and came to the conclusion that: 1) the Kenneth Cole Reaction Attache hit the sweet spot on the price/value chart; and 2) eBags also hit the sweet spot on the price chart. My experience over the last six months has been very positive with this attache. Its appearance still is great and the hardware has that satisfying sound of high quality."

"I like the way it is organized. I have many files and papers to carry as well as passports, CDs etc and I feel they are safely stored in this briefcase. The only thing that could be improved is the latch system. One of the latches opens up on me if I don't lock it. It is easy to lock and unlock but it can be a hassle if I forget and the latch opens."

"I've been pretty gentile with this. I use this a few times a week and have had it for less than a month and it's already showing signs of wear. I didn't expect to see these things nearly so soon. Some issues with the leather at the seams and where it meets the metal, it's tearing a little and exposing some white beneath the leather, it's starting too look slightly ... awefull. It was on the cheeper end of the spectrum; I am dissapointed but I guess I'm not Extremely dissapointed."
