"I bought this bag in beige, and liked it so much that I've just bought another one in navy. It's casual yet professional in appearance, highly organized yet large enough to toss in those extra items without having to find a specific "spot" for them (my iPad mini and large sunglasses most frequently go with me, but sometimes I carry a larger iPad or even a book or small water bottle). I've used the beige Machida for more than 4 months now, which has included frequent traveling--meaning it's been thrown on floors and into car trunks, dropped and walked on in hotel rooms as well as on patios, beaches, and even an impromptu hiking expedition--and it still looks almost like new. If this bag cost a bit less, I'd probably get more in other colors as well--it's a great bag that's both functional and attractive. I love it!"

"I've been using this as a diaper bag alternative for an almost potty-trained toddler and it is the perfect size for a change of clothes, snacks, water bottle, and wallet/ phone/ keys."

"This has become my everyday bag. The weight of the items in this bag are distributed equally. I am a part-time teacher and can add necessary items for school in this bag. It can also fit a light weight raincoat and/or a book. I love the key attachment...no more fumbling for keys. I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it."

"This is a wonderfully lightweight bag, well organized and good-looking. My only issue with it is that it's somewhat sportier than I thought it would be, mostly due to the zippers--so it's a little less suitable for dressier occasions. But it holds an iPad, cell phone and wallet easily, it travels well, and it's far less of a hulking beast than the enormous satchel I ordinarily lug around."

"Nice size; not too bulky, but holds a fair amount of things in an organized fashion. I'm a little concerned about how the strap will wear compared with the rest of the bag, as it's cotton. Would be nice if it was removable/replaceable."

"I have some items that I must carry with me. I read about this bag and its ability to hold a tablet. It does fit a magazine in the rear slip pocket. The same pocket holds your iPad. The front flap pocket holds a Kindle. However, I was not crazy about the North-South style and I could not fit everything inside without removing several things when I needed something else that fell to the bottom. In the end, the cons outweighed the pros and it was returned. I love eBags. I will just select a different item for myself."

"Great travel cross body bag with pockets and space. I can fit my I pad in the outside pocket and camera, passport, wallet, makeup in the others. It's not bulky and just a great fit for travel! The gray color is great because it's neutral and goes with anything. I have several Kipling bags and luggage and they are all super durable! Love it!"

"Mixed feelings about this one. I ordered it in the caffe (not café) latte and discovered that the dual-tone strap of the photo is actually the solid khaki color. I find the look to be overall a bit bland and would have chosen another color had I known. Size: I wish it were 10 smaller. I bought this to carry my iPad, keys, phone, and sunglasses or small umbrella. My iPad (the Retina, not the Air) with a full Apple case can fit horizontally into the back Velcro slip pocket, leaving the main compartment free. (Or you could put it vertically and let it stick out.) It can fit either horizontally or vertically in the main compartment. Very roomy, but I'd prefer a smaller profile. Not that this is huge or anything. Personal preference. Third, the end of the zipper is weird. If you look carefully at the photos you'll see that the end has a 1.5" tab. If you tuck it into the bag and then unzip that last .5", it's a chore to zip closed. Not a problem if you leave the tab sticking up. As I don't like that look, I just don't unzip all the way. Lightweight and has excellent organization, and I know it'll last forever. I have a dozen Kipling bags, backpacks and luggage, and it's rare that I don't love them at first use. I *am* keeping this one, and if it doesn't grow on me, I'll give it to my mom."
