"This is really a great bag. The leather is supple, but it holds its shape very well even with oddly-shaped objects inside. The compartment is large enough for my 14.1 thinkpad and could probably go up to a 15 or maybe even 17 without difficulty. The craftmanship on this is gorgeous: I have no doubt that it is handcrafted and will hold up for a long, long time. I got it in the tan color, which is slightly darker than on the screen, but very pleasant to look at. This is my first review on eBags, and I only did so because I felt this was a remarkably good deal. This kind of quality is hard to come by, even (or perhaps especially) in the modern era."

"The leather has a nice look and feel, and the bag seems to be well-made. Critiques: one end of the expansion-zipper dangles out and looks a bit odd. It has a snap-button to attach to the inside of the bag, but it never stays (since the strap presses against it). The strap is also a bit narrow for the size of the bag. But overall I'm very happy with it."

"Ordered the expandable version to get the carry handle. The flap magnetic latches are not convenient to use but hold firmly. Expandable feature has turned out to be more useful than expected - laptop, several folders, a bottle of water and the bag can quickly become uncomfortably heavy. Seems to be holding its shape well even with the abuse I am giving it. Shoulder strap pad inadequate if the bag is loaded up, altho with sensible use it should be fine. Daily office use and one airline trip have shown it to be a keeper. Would have been nice to have it fully lined but the raw leather flap does not seem prone to shedding so it is acceptable. Overall it is recommended with the caveat that it can become a catch-all and the shoulder strap is too thin."
