"Got the Lesportsac Messenger bag Merriment(13x11x4)to use as my daily purse. The previous daily purse was (it's still in great shape after two year of almost daily use and I still like it!) a Lesportsac medium tote (19x13x4) which I found a bit too large for everyday. My requirements were a lightweight bag, to downsize a bit but enough to easily fit an ipad, large wallet and other stuff securely with a zipper so the important stuff wouldn't fall out or get stolen easily. I also wanted something that I could wear crossbody as well as on the shoulder. This Lesportsac messenger bag is lightweight and easily fits an ipad (but not the separate keyboard if you have one), a small cosmetic bag, and my Bagallini Triple Zip bag (like a wallet on a string for my id, credit cards, cell phone-can pull out and put into another bag if I need) and room for more stuff. The inside has on one side: two sewn in pockets for cell phone (one is wide enough for android phone, other is a bit narrower.) The other side has a single large insert pocket (maybe for small wallet or billfold) and has a zipper for securing small items. The outside back has a large zippered section. Under the flap side is a pocket with no zippers or closures (good for non valuables like tissue, pens, or anything you won't get upset about losing)and it's just secured if you use the large outer hook release on the flap. What would I improve? With so many ipad, tablets & Nook readers, maybe a divider to keep it separate from the rest of the stuff? Another website (that sells shoes) has a Lesportsac 2 pocket messenger bag with side pockets to hold small water bottle or umbrella or even to clip pens? I like the size, but don't really need the "flap" portion with hook/clasp so it could be removed to reduce weight, but then I guess it would be like their hobo style bag! But this was priced right at $40 daily steal. Overall, its a nice bag-typical good quality, lightweight Lesportsac."

"As usual, I am not disappointed in my Sportsac! I use it when I don't need to carry my normal, suitcase-sized handbag, but it still holds quite a lot, including my wallet, extra reading glasses, needlepoint, and magazines, as well as a few other essentials."

"It's cute and I personally like that it doesn't have the "lesportsac" label written all over it like some of their other bags. It's got a lot of useful pockets - I don't think I would ever need more than they added. It hasn't rained since I got the bag but I am fairly confident that it will stand up well like all of the other lesportsac items I own. Overall, I'm pleased with this bag. It's good for carrying around everyday items and I can also put in a pad of paper, book, and/or tablet if I'm working or want to bring some more activities with me."
