"I bought several of these locks. I like that I can lock my zippers to stationary points of my suitcase (like the handle). These are easy to use and offer extra security (after I learned that even zippers with locks can be gotten into). I also like that you can take the cable off one side if you choose and that you can use them to secure your bag to a stationary item if you choose. This lock is unobtrusive, so they don't add bulk or look unattractive on your bag."

"This cable lock seems to be a good idea-- a small loop that will connect several zippers and a large loop for securing the pack to an object. However, BE WARNED. The combination is extremely easy to accidentally reset while securing the large loop. The first time I used it, it had reset itself. The top number had, un-noticed by me, gotten moved over a few digits, and it would not re-open. I had to find someone who could cut it off. Searching on the Internet, I found other people who had had this same problem. I still use the lock, however, using just the smaller cable, and it works fine."

"This is on it¿s way back to Ebags. Good ideal poor performance. The loop is too long. If someone wanted to open the bag it is still possible because the loop is too long. The lock failed and when I reached for my bag it was open. Also on the converse, the other side jammed and I had to cut it off. Terrible. Would not buy again or recommend."

"Used this lock on a recent trip to Thailand to secure 2 compartments on my duffel bag. The cable lock broke half way through the trip. Unable to reconnect one of the connectors as lock would not accept my code. Had to cut this off my duffel."

"Lewis N. Clark Double Cable Lock (Black) Need to lock my eBags TLS Mobile Office (Sinful Red) bag to the MetroNorth train poles so that it remains in the train where I am. I once had my portfolio bag on wheels (filled with expensive & delicate equipment) removed from the train and positioned on a train platform. I'd fallen asleep & didn't realize it had been removed until I awoke and prepared to leave the train. I was fortunate b/c the conductor was able to trace back & locate the bag. This lock secures the bag so that it will arrive at my destination along with me. It works quickly, effortlessly and is small enough that it's not burdensome."
