"The Immersion Heater works great. I've had some issues with the tab that holds it on but I've rigged it to fit of some of my larger travel mugs. Just make sure you read the instruction before you use it. Apparently people have had issues with it shorting out, but as long as its only plugged in when submerged then you should be fine. Great item for the price."

"I travel internationally and there is nothing worse than beign stuck in a hotel room that has no coffee pot and not being able to warm up water for a cup of tea or broth. This little device doesn't take up much room and make sure that I can have a warm cup of tea when I want one!"

"I have used these coils for many years and was always satisfied with them. The last three that I have purchased seem to be very slow for the boiling of the water. I guess it must be a different product. Usually ,, I had boiling water within 2 minutes and this product seems to take 6-10. I ordered the last coil because I thought the previous one was damaged but now I see the product takes longer."

"This item is outstanding for a small portable item that can be packed in your luggage to be used in places you are staying to heat up water for coffee, tea and/or soup, etc. It is good to have with you when you find the hotel your in doesn't have free in room coffee for one reason or another."

"Great for deployed servicemembers who want to make hot water quick but not sacrifice space in their bag.. runs off 110-240W which is perfect."

"I purchased 2 heaters for a trip to Paris. They work great - but you need to read the instructions! I accidently took one out of the water before I unplugged the heater and it burned out. That was my mistake, so I can't blame the appliance for that. The other heater works just fine."

"The immersion heater works well, just make sure you unplug it before removing it from the liquid. It's so nice to have it because so many hotels are removing the coffeemakers from the rooms, so I take my own coffee/tea/cocoa and brew my own using this heater."

"I purchased this Immersion Heater so I could have tea in my hotel room during a recent trip to Russia. The device worked one time, and the next day it was non-operational. I was very disappointed with the quality of the device..."
