"I just received this item, but I am happy with it so far. I plan to use it as an casual backpack or extra tote bag when traveling. I think it will be great for visits to the beach. Usually I travel with a large-ish purse and a beach tote, but I don't really like using either if I'm just going for a walk on the beach and need something to hold my phone, sunscreen, water bottle and keys. It should also work well for carrying a few groceries or other light shopping. It's light and compact so won't take up much room in my suitcase."
