"I wanted to try a hardside for extra protection for my items and because this model was lighter than the soft sided nylon suitcases. Every ounce counts, especially when traveling frequently overseas. I love the spinner wheels. The zipper seems to get stuck sometimes, because the two sides of the case have to be lined up to close well, which can take a bit of doing when the top side is heavily packed. I think I prefer the soft sided luggage, too, because when I have to add a small item, I don´t have to lay the whole case down and unzip it all the way to slip it in like I do with this style."
