"I love this bag. I will say there are a few items in other reviews that puzzle me (comments about it not being able to sit up vertically) that I have not experienced. My only real complaint is the laptop pocket is BURRIED inside a pouch inside the zippered compartment...I ride the El to work everyday and my worry is not that someone is going to snatch my laptop out...it is that my wallet, iPhone, kindle, etc will get taken. I actually just put my laptop in one of the outside compartments and use the inner zippered part for valuables and the laptop compartment for items I need in the bag but use rarely (ie. spare charger, extra house keys, etc.). Way too much work to access that inner laptop pocket daily. Love the bag though!!"

"Beautiful tote! Excellent quality of construction and design. (Someone asked me if it was a Tod's!) The stitching is sturdy. The height is taller than I had expected (squarish shape rather than rectangular), but consequently allows for more capacity than my previous bag. The leather is beautiful, but is NOT very resistant to scratches--it has a waxy smooth finish, but shows the surface scratches since I tend to carry hard-edged items in it...I have to be careful not to brush up against walls when it is on my shoulder. Overall still very pleased with it, however."

"This bag is beautiful, sturdy and professional looking. It has a well organized interior and the red accent piping gives it a little personality. I purchased it in lieu of a briefcase because it will accommodate legal sized files. It should have metal feet on the bottom for protection and to keep it upright. It is a little stiff inside which will likely change as it wears. Unfortunately, I have had it for two weeks and recently wore it with a coat that had buttons on the pockets and I see little scratches on the side, which is disappointing since it is not an inexpensive bag. I hope it wears better than that since I typically don't expect my coat pockets to damage a handbag. I am considering returning the bag, which otherwise looks brand new."
