"I initially purchased this for my 9 year old daughter for her school use. However, we quickly realized that the upper portion was just not wide enough to fit her one thick binder, let alone everything else she would have preferred to carry along to school. However, it was stylish, EXTREMELY LIGHTWEIGHT and the straps would extend enough for my own use (I'm 5 feet 2 and 115 lbs). Now whenever we go hiking or camping, or when I'm dressed casually and in the mood to have both my hands free, I take this along with me. It is just big enough to fit my purse, keys, cosmetics, ipad plus maybe a bag of snacks and a lightweight sweater. Even though it did not serve our initial purpose, I'm very please with it. It is definately the best backpack I've ever owned."

"Got this for my daughter for preschool though it is so small that she now just uses it as a fun bag to bring toys to friends homes for play. It is a super cute backpack but I just found it too small for bringing stuff to school (even for a preschooler). With her change of clothing and lunch it is jam packed. Still worth it bc it is so cute."

"We bought this for our daughter for kindergarten. She is a small 4-yr old so a full size backpack would be way too big. This pack fits her pretty well. Some of the other kids look like they are carrying parachutes. She likes the buckles at the waist & chest makes things more snug. She is also happy w/ all the pockets. The pack is big enough to hold regular-sized school folders any smaller a pack and I don't think theyd fit. I was a little leary of the rip-stop material because its thinner than regular nylon on other packs I'm worried it won't hold up as well. So far so good, though. Well see how it does after a few weeks on school."

"My 7 year old daughters loved the bags. They are smaller than I expected, so I am glad we did not get the 10s. They are very comfortable my girls have told me. The only thing I would change is to make them a little larger and the strings on the back are a little annoying when the bag is not full."

"I purchased the 15L in purple for my 5 yr old daughter. The picture on e-bags shows the color as more of a blue, but the actual color is a really nice shade of purple.(Luckybums.com has a more accurate picture of the color in purple. It looks nicer in person though). In my opinion, the 15L is a good size for a 5-8 yr old. It has nice padding in the back. Its appearance is trendy and will be good for our hiking trips, as well as for school."

"For my daughter for Kindergarten. She loves the bag and the fact that there is a buckle across the chest on the arm straps. I like the color and dragonfly embroidery. The bag has nice padding in the back. It is a little small, but considering it is going to be used for K, and she is a little person, that shouldn't be a big deal."
