"The backpack is well made looks like it would be comfortable to carry for longer trips, but it is too small for my 5 year old son to pack his normal load of extra clothes, books & toys for school."

"Bought this for my seven year old son. It fits him very well and is a decent size, however it does not fit larger sized books. My biggest complaint is the material. It is very thin -- which means that it not only is prone to getting rips, but it also doesn't hold its shape very well when you are trying to pack it. Other than that, it is a nice backpack."

"I bought this backpack for my 1st grader. Typical backpacks are too big in my opinion, and this one is perfect for what we needed. It isn't so big that it overwhelms him, but still holds his binder and misc items. It isn't huge, but the size is perfect for our daily needs. And the look is really great. It has a nice handle that we can clip his lunch box on as well."

"Bought this bag for my daughter, 8 years old, to use as a school backpack. (also a Dragonfly 10 for my 6 year old) It fits her like glove. We live on Florida and often bike to school. It can be very warm in the morning and this bag has been very comfortable for both daughters. The mesh cushioning is very breathable. The styling is good. I would have no problem recommending these bags to friends."

"very nice fabric, waterproof, light parachute type. I bought it for my almost 3 year old son and am using as his daily bag for extra clothes, diapers, monster trucks, and my arsenal of herbal remedies, and any overnight things. Then he can use it when he starts school. It is very light, and even when full seems light. It is small enough to fit him in about a year or two, but feels nice on my back, I can even clip the chest strap. It is small, but holds everything he needs, even a jacket inside, and has cinch straps on the outside for bulkier items such as a sweatshirt, coat, or blanket. Has 2 mesh side pockets which fit his smaller sized Nalgene water bottle, and a pair of sandals on the other side. It has thoughtfully placed padding on the back and spaces to allow ventilation, even nicer than my northface borealis pack! A few of my friends have already ordered one for their kids! Also, even though this one doesn't have the water bladder, it does have the slot for it in the back and the hole and a clip on the strap. If you already have a bladder this one seems to fit the standard size. If not the price of a bladder is about the same as the price difference of the bag like this one with bladder included. It may actually be a little cheaper to buy bag with bladder instead of separate, but not sure of the brand included? Camelbak bladders run about 25-30 where I live. All in all, VERY COOL BAG! I wish Id have found it sooner, and it kinda makes me wish I was a kid again...Id get it in purple )"

"I bought this for my 8 year old son for school and I was very disappointed when I got it. It is so small and I couldn't even fit his notebooks for school in it. It may be good for other uses, but for school this is not a good bag, plus the fabric feels really cheap. I doubt it would have made it all year without tearing. I will be sending this back, it is too expensive to keep for just a every now and then bag."
