"Really nice quality bag, however the strap is rough and a little on the long side. (I'm 5Ƌ") Also, the slide adjuster on the strap is difficult to move. I'm hoping that once the bag gets broken in it will be a little softer but it is currently pretty crunchy. The color is awesome - I got the green/orange combo, very vibrant. The yellow interior rocks for finding stuff. The pockets are great. I like that this doesn't have velcro closures - I don't need to advertise to a room when I am looking for a piece of gum. Overall, nice bag. I just wish it had a better strap."

"I like this bag, my only complaint is the clasps are a real pain to open and close. I don't know why they're just a real struggle to undo so I almost never snap them shut."

"Overall impressions: - I bought the Dana Messenger in Grey/Red and VERY happy with my purchase. - The quality of the bag is top-notch. - The size and placement of the pockets are just right for my various needs. The bag is light and compact enough to use for just a binder or two plus my iPod, glasses, planner, etc, yet expansive enough to swallow up my laptop, half a dozen library books, my thermos, and other knickknacks. My favorite things about this bag include the following: - It sits very well on my back when I ride my bike. This was a high priority for me. Past shoulder bags would slide around and off to my side, necessitating frequent readjustment on my body. This bag performs as well as I could ask for without being an all out bicyclist messenger bag. - Since I ride every day, rain or shine, I love that the bag is waterproof and keeps all my stuff dry. - It doesn't have any velcro. Its awkward to open and close a velcro bag in the library or other quiet situations. Other tidbits: - I had my previous Manhattan Portage bag for almost 10 years. I think this ones going to last me quite a long time as well. - Therere a couple of compartments that are difficult to see in the pictures online. 1) On the back side of the bag, theres a flat open pocket, perfect for a newspaper or folder for quick access. 2) The front flap is a flat pocket itself, accessed from the top of the bag via zipper. I don't find much use for it though. 3) The main compartment has a small zipper compartment, presumably for valuables or small items. - I didn't buy the accessory shoulder pad, though others rave about it. I find the plain strap pretty comfortable, though I bike and don't walk long distances with it. Things I would improve (very minor points): - The bags more expensive than I would have liked, but I'll keep it for a long time anyway. - The buckles aren't as user friendly as I would like. I'm getting used to them though. - I wish there were more color schemes available!"

"I love this bag! It's lightweight and keeps everything organized. I also love that it's waterproof. I thought it would be too big on me at first (Im 5 ft 2in and 100 pounds) but it was perfect! Great bag for all your needs!"

"I use this bag every day, and I am extremely disappointed with it. It is heavy. Even when it is empty, it weighs more than it should. It has limited pockets with zippers (there is only one on the inside). The bags half-moon design has resulted in many trashed books--I put brand new books in and a week later (of walking back and forth to school) the books are dog earned and bent pages from sliding into each other. Its bizarre I've never had that kind of problem with a messenger bag before. The bag is way too costly."

"I took my messenger bag with me recently to Arizona and New Mexico. It was a fabulous way to carry camera equipment as well as personal items all in one easy to carry bag. It is tough enough to last forever!"
