"Bought this to take to a conference to hold some papers and iPad, without having to carry a full briefcase. It was the perfect size for that and I could see myself using it again when I needed to carry more than would fit in my pockets, but less than a briefcase/backpack. Would be a little improved if it had an external pocket for a water bottle or snack and a handle to not always carry it by the shoulder strap."

"You need a good bag for when you spend all day walking around the Big City. It's got to be large enough to carry your bottled water, sunglasses, camera, a novel, and a sweatshirt, but small enough that you don't look like you're hitch-hiking your way across the country. It also needs to be stylish enough that your friends or family-members aren't embarassed to be seen with you. I suppose they call this the "Manhattan Bag" because it meets all the above criteria. I bought mine for Tokyo. In general I love the bag - the size, style, etc. are all perfect. No one has called it a "purse" yet, so that's a plus. The only thing that would have improved it in my opinion would be more specialized pockets inside (pen slots, key clip, small zipper pouch). It does have a lot of pockets but they're all big enough that you have to rummage around a bit to find loose small items. Aside from the price--built for Manhattan at New York prices, I guess--that's my only nitpick. One more tip: although it's not a computer bag, I found that, in a pinch, it's big enough to hold a 13" Macbook Pro in a neoprene zipper case."

"I think the bag is well-made and would probably stand up to constant use. Unfortunately, it is too small for my needs and has been returned. That said, eBags' customer service is wonderful. All I needed to do is request a return label, print it, repack the bag, and drop it off at my local FedEx location. I would not hesitate to order from this company again."

"Simple and good design. Holds papers and tools if you need it to. You need to have a category that is called artist in the occupation section."

"I decided to step up to a messenger bag. I have been using a .99 cent Wal-Mart tote. The only problem is you have to tie up one hand carrying the bag. I didn't want to succumb to a lap top bag. I had heard that Europen men routinely carry messenger bags. I did a search in bing.com and fell upon e-bags.com. The prices were great, the shipping was reasonable and I found what I was looking for in Manhattan Portage. A great bag. Perfect for what I do best: SHOP UNTIL I DROP. As Wilma Flintstone and Betty Rubble I,too, have yelled the war cry: Chhhhhhhhharrrrrrrgggggggge itttttttt!!!"

"very good little bag. handy for trips, big enough to hold a book, water bottle, sunglasses, ipod, wallet, and camera. the only problem is that the pocket on the front flap is kind of useless because everything in it falls all the way to the back of the bag whenever the flap is opened. I remedied this by putting a line of stitching along the top of the zipper. easy and works great now."
