"This bag is perfect for school. I find messenger bags much more comfortable than backpacks. This bag is very roomy, can fit books, and a 13 inch laptop easily. I appreciate the zip pockets. I did end up buying the MP shoulder pad to use with the bag; I wish it had come with one. But it was only $10 more."

"I've always been a fan of Manhattan Portage bags. It's the only brand I use because it's durable and reliable. I bought this bag to replace my old main bag that was similar to this one only because I lost it. I had that bag for almost a decade and it was still good as new after taking it on numerous trips, high school, college, work, while living a hectic New York City lifestyle. I hope that this one will also live up to those standards."

"I actually purchased this bag for my roommate as a gift. He has been really pleased with the bag. I originally gave him the bag to use for work (hed been lugging around a ripping messenger bag from college) but he has just started grad school and intends to use the bag there as well. The bag is big enough to fit his 17 inch laptop, but when the computer is in the bag not much else will fit. Overall, nice looking and functional bag."
