"The item is perfect with the exception of the clip to secure the phone in the holder. The male end needs to be perfectly inserted for it to be secured and it takes several attempts at times. The female end needs to be flared at the edges so the male end can slide in quicker and easier without having to look down to find the sweet spot."

"I got this for my Iphone 4S. I have the phone in an Otterbox but that makes it really snug. Too snug actually as it will pull off the clip when I try to pull it out. I really don't like the Otterbox either and will be going back to the Magpul case. It doesn't offer the protection of the Otterbox but it at least fits the holster. I think the holster is of quality construction and will hold up just fine. I do wish they had a belt loop that went upright instead of sideways."

"The belt clip is a little frustrating, since it tends to slip on the case as noted in other reviews. Except for this, the case is well made and rugged, just as one would expect for gear from Maxpedition."

"I bought this item to hold my LG Optimus S, it fits perfectly. However the metal belt clip is designed to be removable for use with MOLLE/PALS webbing. In my use, getting in and out of an ambulance, the clip would slide out of the webbing. I just threaded my belt through the webbing and wear it horizontally now with no issues. It also fits a 160gb iPod Classic with hard case. Very nice case overall."

"My career is in law enforcement and I needed a phone carrier that would stay on my duty belt and protect my phone; this is exactly what I needed. The clip holds the carrier on my belt without fail and the strap keeps the phone in the carrier but makes it quickly accessible when needed."
