"I just received this pouch. While I'm excited to have it as new addition to my 5.11 bug out bag, I wish it were just a tad bigger. Maybe like 2 inches all around. I am using it for my first aid kit and trying to keep some of the items in their original packages/containers for better organization. In doing so, it takes up space. I know I can just scale down and put items in zip lock bags, but I'm very structured and know it will drive me crazy doing that. I'll use if for now. I think I might try the large modular 2 way pocket and keep my fingers crossed this will hold all my first aid stuff. Or I might see if the bathroom kit would be more suitable. I will still get great use out of this pouch if I decide to use it for other items."

"Smaller that I expected but well made. My use does not require the handle."

"Very durable. Wish it came with the clips to attach to other maxpedition packs"

"This is perfect for a personal first aid kit. Filled up with plenty of supplies, and still have room for more."

"The FR-1 is a great pouch. It can be used for many things. I use it for a medical/storage kit. I carry it everyday with my Falcon 2 backpack. It is well made and very sturdy. Like every Maxpedition product I own. I loce it."

"Extremely well constructed pouch. The drawstrings on each side are fantastic when you open the pouch in the vertical position. They allow the pouch to hang open without dumping the contents. The strips are adjustable, so you can have the pouch as much or as little as you'd like. Don't forget to purchase MALICE clips or other clips to attach this pouch to your bigger bags, as it doesn't come with any."

"Great product! Multiple internal loops and pockets for organizing various items. Rugged construction. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for! This first-aid pouch will likely outlast the user. I will definitely by Maxpedition products again. Highly Recommended!"
