"The JANUS Extension Pocket was a little larger than I expected, and when attached to my Versipack shoulder strap, is extremely useful for additional, and easily accessible, small item storage. The internal dividers and loops keep the contents of the pocket secure and organized. The product is well made and appears very durable. A little pricey, but I'd purchase it again."

"Purchased as an addition to my Maxpedition S-Type Mongo Versipack to have easier access to my wallet. Easily holds wallet, checkbook, & knife for quick deployment. You also have two options in which to mount on your pack. I use my pack as an EDC and have received numerous compliment. Absolutely love it, I'm a Marine Veteran and can tell immediately the durability of the product."

"I purchased this for use on my Kodiak or my Lunada which are my motorcycle gearbag and EDC carry respectively. I tac tied the Janus on the front sling strap for easy storage of much needed items like my wallet, spare change, boarding passes, etc. It is a great addition to any Maxpedition bag, of which are carried behind the back. One good use for it too, is that I could stick my toll road transponder on it while on my bike. I don't have a windshield on my bike, it's perfect placement for the sensors to see it. One complaint though is that one of the zipper pulls got unraveled and detached from the Janus as I was closing it. It's advertised as "hard use gear" and should not fail at such a menial task. It's an easy fix though, but uncool nonetheless. I will get another one in order for each bag to have a dedicated sling pouch each. It is such a useful accessory, it is one of the must buys if you have a Maxpedition or any tactical bag."

"It is my opinion that all Maxpedition products are over-priced to one extent or another. that said, I wanted a Janus pack for some time, and I finally bought it in black. I used it on my EDC bag strap at the outset, but I've since moved it to the side of my Hazard 4 Tonto bag, using Maxpedition TacTies to MOLLE it to the side of the Tonto. I use the Janus to hold EDC medications, such as Benedryl, Ibuprofen, Neosporin, and to hold an extra set of contact lenses. I replace all factory zipper pulls with my own, using GITD paracord and a GITD lanyard tip. These work well. I like the Janus bag very much - it uses a well thought-out design, but I think the prices could be about $10 cheaper."
