"A very well designed bag, intended as a concealled carry pistol pouch or a "bug-out-bag" for those in the Prepper community. I plan on using this as my daily carry bag while attending Burning Man later this year. It has a generous holder for a water bottle as well as a separate compartment for prescription or sunglasses. I bought the left handed verion of the bag (S-Type) and it is very comfortable to carry. This is a perfect bag for a person to use to carry water, snacks, a rain poncho, cell phone etc. in a comfortable manner. I used another Maxpedition bag two years ago while on a trip to Italy for 2 weeks and found it to be extremely durable and easy to carry."

"First of all the pack fits great on the side or on the back, plenty of pockets and hiden areas to hide something, especially with pickpockets in the philippines. I will use this product in the jungles and mountain paths, will have tested this pack this coming sunmmer, I know it will work out well, very sturdy. I like the fact it has a place for a water bottle, and it has enough room for anything you want to carry. Will let you know how it went when I get back, of coarse I will stay away from the bad islands, Happy Trails, Van."

"Overall, I like the bag but it is smaller then what I expected. The actual storage capacity is pretty small. The pouch on top on the main flap has a single rap around zipper a the base of the pouch. if the zipper does not get fully closed, which seems to happen , because you have to pull it around the corners of the pouch, items will fall out. Things like pens and other small stuff finds a way out. Plus, the bag is designed for left hand carry but this zipper runs from the back to the front. Which means you have to swing the bag totally to the front to get to it. I think this might be a rightside carry over. The main compartment has a drawstring rain over which makes it harder to get to the items in there unless you fold it down against the walls of the main compartment. When folded down, you can't get to items in the mesh pocket inside the main compartment without removing things and pulling the rain cover up. When the rain cover is folded down, there is an open gap on the ends of the main compartment and the main flap so when the flap is secure, items can fall out of the gaps. There is a small zippered compartment on the main flap for a few small items. The bag doesn't stand up on it's own very well, so if you set it on the seat beside you, get something out of the compartment, and the bag tips, the other items in this compartment fall out. The zippered compartment of the front has a mesh divider in it but the whole thing is too small to be functional for a lot of things I carry. The pouch on the side, under the main flap has an open mesh pocket inside. Since it doesn't close, the items you put in here don' t seem to stay in there and end up out in the pouch. I don't carry a gun so I can't comment on that, but you can slide an iPad in the slot. It is hard to zip close with it in there but it can be done. Very well constructed and rides well when worn. It has a big "cool factor" for a man bag. Nobody will think it's sissy."

"I use this and other Maxpedition products on a daily basis for both work (keeping my normal EDC gear organized) and outdoor recreation and range work. Maxpedition bags can't be beat for quality, durability, and versatility. I recently used this bag as a scaled down range bag at a major regional IDPA match. 250 rounds of .45 ACP ammo, small cleaning kit, spare parts and magazines, water bottle, and other essentials all in this bag? Seems too small for all that? It handled it with comfort and ease. Less hassle and bulk than my usual range bag, and more comfortable to carry. Pockets are well organized and construction is "bullet proof.""
