"The main reason I got this bag was because I saw the videogame Splinter Cell Conviction, and I wanted a sling bag like the main character's. I stumbled across this bag online, and instantly feel in love with it - it looks so cool. To add to the coolness, this bag was used in the Transformers movies, and in Iron Man 3 (I love Tony Stark :D). If you're thinking about buying this bag, you should really plan out exactly what you want to use it for. It's not a bag you want to pack a ton of stuff into, because (1) it's not very big and (2) it will start to hurt your shoulder. The ability to sling it to the front of your body is awesome, I do this multiple times a day. It makes you feel like you have more control over you bag (an added sense of security). I run an online business, and I'm always traveling - so this bag stays with me all day every day. I keep my Google Chromebook, a notebook, a small amount of business paper work, my wallet, my phone, a flashlight, a usb stick, my mp3 player and a few other random things. It can fit much more, but I don't want it to feel heavy (plus I want to keep it looking streamlined, because it looks cooler when it's not bulging with stuff). To be honest, I bought this bag for the style. I wanted a backpack that made me look like a stylish James Bond, SWAT Team, Modern Military man. I'm also quality snob, and I'm super impressed with the construction. Feels like military grade gear (which ads to my feeling of coolness). So if you're a minimalist looking for a stylish, high quality sling bag - this is your bag."

"Although the construction and appearance of the Sitka is just what I expected from Maxpedition, it is not for me. This is my first sling bag and will be the last. I used it for three days as an everyday carry to/from work, and at 7.75 pounds, it just wasn't comfortable. Maxpedition makes great products and I will consider them in the future. If you are familiar with the single strap bags, and like them, then this bag is for you."

"I bought the Sitka Gearslinger for my husband for work purposes. He has owned other sling style bags, but none of them have even compared to the Sitka. The quality of this bag is top notch. It has so many useful pockets, there is a place for everything. We were so happy with the Sitka that we purchase a second one for our son and a Noatak for me.
