"First, you might think this is a pricy bag. It is. But like the adage, ya get what ya pay for is true, this is the best! I am a Navy SEAL and travel off time all over the world. I just got back from Turkey and this bag was as good as gear issued to me. Tough, (I mean TOUGH!) versatile, pockets you¿ll be finding 2 weeks after you¿ve owned this bag and the way you can synch down your gear, you can throw it in an overhead or anywhere & stuff stays put! It also has great ¿yoke-type¿ clasp systems that (although I¿m pretty aware of this happening to me) prevent only the world¿s best pickpockets from getting into it. The color is great and had no problem finding other articles the same to blend in. Maxpedition has all the extras to go with this (or any) of their bags to increase the size or compartmentalize your gear. I have owned dozens and now am in possession of at least 12-15 backpacks or bags for carrying personal stuff. I have used them on 3-5 day to a month-long vacation. In one way or another I was disappointed in them. This bag so far has out done my wildest expectations. When people say ¿Yea, but I hear they¿re expensive¿¿ go ahead & save your money¿and be disappointed. This or any of Maxpedition bags will probably be the last bag you¿ll need. I didn¿t say the last you¿ll buy. Once you own one, you¿ll want to try more for different applications! Honestly, the BEST bag I have ever seen or owned!"

"Great bag. Have searched a long time for the perfect bag for everyday use and this bag has it. Small, yet swallows up everything I need daily (including 15' work computer). Great storage layout and utility. Also this bag is built to last, I've stuffed it to the brim and have beat it up pretty good since having it and it still looks/works brand new. Great buy!"

"This bag is deceivingly large. The pockets are organized so well that it holds alot of stuff easily. I use it to hold a DSLR camera & lenses while hiking, and I also use it as a range bag to hold ammo, mags, and targets. In between, it lays in my trunk as a go-bag. I also own a Maxpedition Monsoon, M-1, and a Sabercat. All of their stuff is TOP-NOTCH! Worth the money, but be aware that eBags has a proice match if you find it cheaper elsewhere. They have honored that policy twice for me, without any hassle."

"This is a very well put together pack. I primarily bought this to carry my stuff on vacation, which it does better than any other small bag I've bought before. Tons of pockets for books, maps, snacks, and everything else you need. My main use of the pack outside travel is for hauling my stuff to the gun range. It easily holds multiple handguns, ammo, eye and ear protection, etc. The only drawback to this pack is the relatively high cost. You pay more because you get more from Maxpedition, but I was disappointed that its not made in the USA."

"Great bag. Search for some videos to get a good idea of the size. I use this for bike rides around town and when I'm out and about with my kids (7 and 2) The slinging action is great when I constantly need to get snacks out for them. Also, a good way to add carrying options to this bag is with ITW Grimloc carabiners."

"This bag is efficient in every way from the straps to the cargo space. It extremely durable and practical. There less expensive bags, but they won't be anywhere near as durable or as high quality as this. Before this I was using a huge back pack to walk around with alll mybgear and stuff I not only got all that stuff in this bag but still had room for more. This is an incredible bag"

"The main reason I got this bag was because I saw the videogame Splinter Cell Conviction, and I wanted a sling bag like the main character's. I stumbled across this bag online, and instantly feel in love with it - it looks so cool. To add to the coolness, this bag was used in the Transformers movies, and in Iron Man 3 (I love Tony Stark :D). If you're thinking about buying this bag, you should really plan out exactly what you want to use it for. It's not a bag you want to pack a ton of stuff into, because (1) it's not very big and (2) it will start to hurt your shoulder. The ability to sling it to the front of your body is awesome, I do this multiple times a day. It makes you feel like you have more control over you bag (an added sense of security). I run an online business, and I'm always traveling - so this bag stays with me all day every day. I keep my Google Chromebook, a notebook, a small amount of business paper work, my wallet, my phone, a flashlight, a usb stick, my mp3 player and a few other random things. It can fit much more, but I don't want it to feel heavy (plus I want to keep it looking streamlined, because it looks cooler when it's not bulging with stuff). To be honest, I bought this bag for the style. I wanted a backpack that made me look like a stylish James Bond, SWAT Team, Modern Military man. I'm also quality snob, and I'm super impressed with the construction. Feels like military grade gear (which ads to my feeling of coolness). So if you're a minimalist looking for a stylish, high quality sling bag - this is your bag."

"I love this bag. The quality of the stitching, rugged construction and the organizational compartments. I am a conceal weapons carrier and I love that it is easy to have access to items with the innovative design. The downside is that it does not have the ergonomic comfort like a standard backpack with a hip strap. I predict that this bag will stand up to wear tear due to it's quality materials and craftsmanship. I think that this product is an excellent choice for an everyday carry or bug out situations. The cost was a little high but I guess it's because of the innovative design. Thumbs up for me!"

"The Sitka is a versatile and creative sling type bag that offers ample carry space without appearing emormous on a petite frame. The 1000 Denier material is obviously impervious to the rigors of daily ,and some not so daily activities. Built like a tank. The carry type differs from the standard backpack as it has a single strap or sling which crosses the chest. In conjunction with an additional support strap, it is quite comfortable even when heavy. I was nervous about this but no more. The neatest thing about the Sitka, however, it the way you can access the contents without removing the bag. The illustrations show this feature and I can confirm it works as advertised. In standard Maxped form, it offers PALS and MOLLE webbing to accomodate a wide variety of pouches and accessories. Its fun to wear and very practical, spacious, and, yes, accomodates a Laptop (minimal padding but it not designed for computer carry). Great as a day bag or for an overnight hike. Nice job, Maxpedition !"

"This is a well thought out bag. Regular backbaks slip off my shoulders when I carry them over the shoulder with 1 strap, but this bags stays put."
