"This case matches the description on the website and the previous reviews I read before buying it. It is clearly too large for commuter aircraft overheads as a complete unit and must be removed from the rolling carriage in order to carry on and store on board. The unit has three zippers which attach the case to the rolling carriage; one down each side along the back and another along the bottom. This is not something you can easily do on board the plane. This is an opportunity for a design improvement in future models. All in all, the case is well made and is well sutied for overnight business trips; the primary purpose for my purchase of this bag."

"The flexibility and storage of the Chicago bag is excellent. I could easily get 4 days of clothes in this bag without the bonus briefcase (2+ days with the briefcase). The bag easily fit under the seat in a CRJ aircraft."

"The bag is plenty big and has loads of compartments. So far, very durable. The bag could have a little firmer frame. That would be ok alone. The real weakness is the number of organization pockets in the front compartments. I loved my samsonite organization, but they don't make the bag in a model for 17" laptops. Overall, it is a good purchase, just missing the extra internal pockets."

"McKLEIN IS McCRAPPY !!! I cannot have had a more parallel experience with this product and the customer service dept. than with Scott from Riverdale, NJ who gave his negative review. My so-called heavy duty zipper fell apart too after just one year of very light duty. The warranty is NOT honored. I spent hours trying to get them to replace the bag which I had clearly documented to them in correspondence as sub-standard in construction. They wouldn't replace mine, or replace the zipper either. They had the balls to offer me a discounted¿ replacement at a price that was 75 bucks more than I paid for mine!!! WTF!! Fast forward to a year after my contact with McKlein customer support, and I am still seething at how poorly constructed this product is, and what a dishonest company McKlein is. I'm so pissed, that I took time out of my busy life to bitch about my experience for you all to read. I have still been barely getting by using this bag with its broken zippers (that's right, a second one broke), and separated/detached shoulder strap. For a bag that has only traveled to and from work in a car for two years, it looks as though it was on the beach at Iwo Jima. McKlein Bags are McTURDs !!! RUN!!! RUN AWAY FAST!!!"

"The McKlein Chicago Nylon Wheeled 17 Laptop Case is sturdy and well made. The zippers are heavy-duty and work well. The bag is easily removed from and attached to the wheel frame. The bag has a lot of storage room. The handle works well and is sturdy. I am tall (6 ft 3 in) and the handle is somewhat short for me. The padding for the laptop is not as thick/heavy as with many computer bags, but is adequate. Overall, I would recommend this laptop case to a friend."

"I purchased the McKlein P Series Bag and the zippers failed after about 2 years. They do not replace zippers or repair the bag and recommended the "Chicago" in 2007 because of its warranty. I travel frequently and liked the removable bag from wheels for commuter flights. So I bought the Chicago in 2007. The side of the bag SPLIT at a seam which make it irreparable according to McKlein. I have gone back and forth with their customer service, and their "Limited Lifetime Warranty" is bull because they cannot repair the bag and will not replace it. I am returning another bag I was going to buy from them as a gift. For the price, you might as well upgrade to someone else who will honor their warranty. They offered me 50% off full retail which is close to what the bags sell for on the web. WARNING: DO NOT BUY any McKlein products, they don't honor warranties."

"This is a terrific bag! It holds all my things and it is organized very nicley. Seems to hold up very well and the best part for me is that it rolls and I don't have to carry it."
