"Great bag except the metal clasps that hold the strap on the bag are a very inferior metal and snapped on my first day using the bag. Very disappointing dor the price of the bag, however I still love the bag"

"This convertible bag is a great idea. It has a great executive look in over-the-shoulder mode, and is light/small enough to easily carry. Far classier than shouldering my big wheely bag, or a cordura shoulder bag. I haven't used it much yet when zipped into the wheely base but I know I'll like travelling with it in wheely mode, then unzipping in my hotel room to carry into a customer boardroom meeting. The compartment organization is good for the size of case. I like the two separated vertical front pockets for pens vs gadgetry, and the airplane ticket zip pocket below that. Also, it is not obvious from photos, but the back zip pocket has an extra zipper at the bottom that allows the pocket to become a handle-band to be able to slide your suitcase handle through when stacking. Regarding the Laptop compartment: I have a smaller netbook-sized notebook which fits sideways on one end of the large laptop compartment. A velcro divider might be a nice addition for those of us without big screen laptops. As it is, I stuff my charger, kindle, and some other stuff in there to keep the laptop at one end."

"I've got a 17" laptop and this bag easily handles my laptop, several file folders, numerous cables, tools, and other items I use as an IT professional. There's room in the front for personal items and business receipts, so it's easy to find things without seaching in the many pockets and storage compartments. The leather is nice and the pull out handle is sturdy. This is not a lightweight bag, and it can be a challenge to find a home for it on board most of the commuter jets. I occasionally run over the leather shoulder strap, which I sometimes use when I travel with other bags. That's about the only problem I've ever had with the bag after nearly a year of regular use. I would gladly purchase another one of these and am pleased with McKlein and eBags. If you need a high capacity versital bag, this is a great choice!"

"I don't usually write product reviews, but after using this McKlein bag, I felt compelled to do so. I travel weekly for work, and it took all of one trip through O'Hare to convince me that a rolling laptop bag was a must. Unfortunately, the rolling bags presented 2 problems: a) they weren't practical to carry into a business meeting, and the sleeves weren't nearly big enough to carry all of the materials I'd need for a meeting; and b) they were often too big to carry aboard the smaller, regional jets I'd often have to take on the 2nd leg of my trips. The McKlein bag has solved both of these issues. Once detached from the rolling unit, the bag looked like any over-the-shoulder laptop case you'd find, with an elegant look that helped portray a professional image. While not huge, the bag has more than enough space for my laptop, adapter, peripherals and any other hard copy files I might need. The big test for me was trying to fit the bag into the overhead bin on a regional jet, which it passed with flying colors. The rolling unit adds surprisingly little to the bags footprint, making it an easy fit in the bin, or if needed, under the seat in front. Overall, I'm incredibly pleased with this purchase, and would highly recommend it for any frequent business traveler interesting in the ease of a rolling bag."

"What an incredible value! I purchased this for my husbands law school graduation gift. As I was about to place the order, he informed me he was going get a new case for himself by redeeming points. I showed him the surprise I was planning. After comparing the cases he decided this was the superior case. Shipping was very quick. There are many generous compartments with a quality lining. More importantly the case is a beautiful leather. The shoulder strap has lobster claw clasps with a great comfort pad. The comfort pad is ample size in length, width, & thickness. It's not just a piece of leather or covered foam cushioning. It's a durable thin gel pad very similar to a gel keyboard wrist rest but much thinner. Attaching/detaching from the wheels is a bit awkward at first but becomes easier with time. The travel handle retracts low enough to be inconspicuous but not so low that you can't extend/retract it quickly & easily. This a great case if you want a professional look that's versatile."

"I purchased this bag over a year ago, and use it every day. I am in sales, so it is nice to be able to remove the wheels & handle for everyday use, or put them back on to roll it around when I am at the airport. As a female, I find this bag to be very gender neutral. It is comfortable to carry around, and I can tote as much or as little as I need. It fits my 17" laptop with plenty of extra space. Since I carry my bag into client meetings, it sees abuse on a daily basis. No broken straps, no interior lining issues, and it is only barely beginning to show signs of wear. Bottom line, I would highly recommend this bag to anyone. When the bag I have does decide to die, I'll probably buy this bag again."

"I bought this bag because I wanted a rolling bag for when I carry my laptop because I have a history of back problems. However, since I usually do not carry my laptop, I was attracted to the idea of a zip-out set of wheels and handle. They are solid, though a bit cumbersome to put on and take off -- but I have gotten used to this and can do it quickly now. This is perfect for me because I have the wheels when I want them and have the lighter weight when the wheels are not necessary. I just leave the wheels wherever Ileave the laptop! The bag is attractive and the leather is an acceptable quality. I'll see over time whether it holds up. The interior of the bag has a number of compartments but it won't hold a lot of thick items if you are carrying your laptop. This is fine for me because it requires that I only carry the items I need, which means I have a lighter load, and I rarely really need all that much space. However, it might create a problem for someone who needs more room. There are two main compartments, one larger for the laptop (which can fit in files as well when the laptop is in there), and one that is divided and is fine for several files and flat things. In addition there are four outside compartmentes of varying sizes that I find very convenient for my datebook, iPod, and a few other things. All in all, this was a perfect choice for me."

"Very pratical bag for airline travel. It fits under the seat in front of you, but is large enough to carry most everything I need for my line of work. It has a high quality appearance and the price is unbeatable."

"It's too difficult to disengage the wheel base from the case so I don't feel comfortable taking it on trips. It took my boyfriend quite a while to get it disengaged and we can't figure out how to make it easier."

"The bag looks great and appears to have great organizational ares. However, for me, upon filling the sections, the areas are quite small and narrow. The zippers don't allow for proper expansion for the filing areas and the pockets are small which are to hold the computer wires in the computer pocket. I would rather have the bag an inch narrower to fit down the isle and a bit more flexible expansion at the base to fit items better."
