McKlein USA Harrison Leather 17" Laptop Partner's Brief 

"I have the Harrison Partners Brief in black. The bag is decent for the price however, after about a year, the leather began to dry and slightly crack. I used several leather conditioners and sent it to professionals to condition, with no real rescue resolution. In addition, the lock still works but, a piece just broke off, leaving a hole. I use the bag daily and it takes a "professional atmosphere" beating. With disappointment, because of its inappropriate appearance, I will need to purchase another bag and it wont be Harrison Leather. In a "nut shell" you always "get what you pay for" If you're looking for a bag to age well and keep (as long as it remains professional looking) this is not the bag."

"Unfortunately my experience with this item has not been good. After only 3 weeks of use the outside clasp to secure the bag broke while I was attending a 5-day training seminar. Also the shoulder strap has caused some difficulty. If the 2 connectors for the shoulder strap are not properly seated on each side when lifting under load the strap will not lock. This results in the strap giving way and the bag dropping from your shoulder to the ground. This happenned on 2 occassions. During one instance, it was exceptionally windy and when the shoulder strap didn't secure the bag fell to the ground. With the clasp already broken, most if not all contents of the bag were emptied and blown down the street. This resulted in some sensitive documents being soiled and damaged. I did not return the bag, due to losing the printed receipt from my online purchase and then the amount of time that has elapsed. All told the experience has been quite disheartening."

"A really quality laptop bag with very inferior clasps at each end of the shoulder strap. They simply come out of the rings on the sides of the bag at the time when they shouldn't. My bag dropped to the floor with the laptop in it when I went to pick the bag up off the floor on one occasion. It has just unsnapped itself when I went to pick up the bag on three other occasions. This issue should really be addressed by ebags as it detracts greatly from an otherwise great bag."

"My overall satisfaction is negative. This product looks cheap and it seems that the finishing couldn't be of a lower quality. I thought McCkelin USA produced quality. They need to do something quick to save their brand name. I'm very disappointed."

"ACCURATE COLOR: the color on the eBags website is the actual color on the case you will receive. NOT FOR 17" LAPTOPS: I tried to fit my 15.6" laptop, it is a tight fit. 17" refers to the length. However, this case is large, I thought it would be smaller, but in person this case is fairly large. SOLID CONSTRUCTION: no loose stitching, no defects visible in the construction. Inside has great leather smell. Fully lined on the inside with a protective laptop sleeve. Sleeve does not reach the top of the case, covers only 1/2 of the laptop. Not a deal breaker for me. Even stitching, good quality metal clasp with a nice satin finish. These cases are made in Thailand. ORGANIZED: 2 pen pockets, cell pocket, wallet pocket and slots for business/credit cards. HINGE FEATURE: doesn't stay open by itself. Again, not a deal breaker as I would prefer not to have a case that could stay open. The two halves of the case match up perfectly when closed with no gap between the two halves. DOESN'T LOCK: There looks like a key hold on the main clasp, but no key in packaging and no mention of a locking feature. STRAP: previous reviews mentioned the cheapness to the strap (nylon with vinyl padded strap). I agree, but I wouldn't use the strap anyways. OVERALL: this case has enough room and everything I need to keep everything organized when I go to court and my office. Looks professional and will look even better as the leather gets worn. Great price, fast (and free) delivery, solid construction, and overall very satisfied with my purchase."

"This is an awesome bag that I use to file pleadings and transport any documents from the office to court or home.
